yup and happy to be a Sens fan, I couldn't even imagine being a laffs fan. Look at all the media, fans getting charges. 2 goals in five games....all losses with 3 shutouts. As I said, the laffs are raising the bar on sucking! And the awesome thing is, I don't even think they've hit rock bottom yet. So it's only going to get worse...

Isn't it amazing how as much as we know the laffs suck, they always seem to find another level of suckedness!!! They should just fold the whole team!

For rainbows on this particular lake I was using a bait hook, small not sure which size with a 2'-2.5" red dace minnow. I have a splitshot about 12" above the minnow which is hooked parallel to the spinal cord mid way on the back. I also use a white scented micro jig which works well.

It was well maintained, runs awesome. I'm going to baby it as it's only a one purpose machine....in and out of the back lakes. I have a Frabill 2 man hut with a tow bar and it follows along quite nicely.

I don't expect anything from the Sens. They suck so bad it's comical. The laffs are the worst team in the league with the worst record over the past 15 games, and have been shutout 3 of the last 4 and we can barely make up any ground lol! The only enjoyment left for me is when the Sens beat the laffs, if they don't then it's just another game in a brutal season!

I dunno! Can you laffites handle another shutout?

Did the double lake outing today. Rainbows in the morning, Walleye at dusk! Got 9 Rainbows but only one keeper, the action was steady but only little ones were biting for the most part. Picked up a Fenwick ice rod, med-heavy and put a Rapala R-Type on it with 6lb ice line. Worked like a charm! 2nd lake was walleye, got 3 smaller ones during the day and surprisingly the night bite was non existent. Never had that spot not have a really insane night bite before, wonder why! Was also the first run on a skidoo I picked up, a 470 BRP Safari, 1992 but in excellent shape. Good enough to get me in to the back lakes and out again. Pretty much all I will be using it for. Nice day out except for the rain that started around 1:30 and lasted for about 4 hrs. Going to have a frozen solid Frabill hut in the morning

I use a stacker clip and run them as close as 20' apart and have never had a tangle. I make sure I'm at speed when setting the lines and will lower the ball down with breaks so the lines can adjust. When one of my downriggers was broken I had four lines for the four in the boat on the same downrigger, had a fish tangle with one line when I popped the line off the clip, wasn't too bad though.

They will do that right after they fix world peace and world starvation obviously!

It's made a whole lots easier watching the complete implosion the laffs are doing I must say!

Actually with 2 games in hand and being 3 points behind the laffs, we can leapfrog the laffs in the standings. And with a game against each other on the 21st we could be 3 points ahead of the laffs. The way the laffs are playing reminds me of a Tom Petty song...."Free Fallin" What's that now, 12 losses in 14 games

Folks are fishing the bays around Petrie Island, I would avoid venturing out further for a while yet. Same with Shirleys bay, I would avoid the current edge but there is good ice in the bay. The Rideau has good ice, same thing, be wary of the current areas. The Head Pond has guys out fishing along the points and in both the launch bay areas. All back lakes are good to go.

Bwhahahaha Carslye fired, laffs 4th and have their best showing in years and they fire the coach. Too funny. The team sucks and the coach pays for it. Good luck with the rest of the season laffites.

I just went through the whole thing Lew. I also bought a Samsung Smart TV. Luckily there is a place in Ottawa that sells HDMI cables at a buck a foot. I needed 4 cables varying from 4' to 8' in length. I paid $40 for the lot. Place is called "Whatever you want", you could expect to pay double elsewhere. Super easy to hook up. Amazing technology. I expect you could order from there or if you want to send me the lengths you need, I would gladly pick them up and mail them to you overnight delivery. Apparently there is not much difference in quality. These are cheaper due to no packaging, just a plastic ziplock.
