Did some splake with fishin with some good buddies of mine over the hoildays, Decided to try a new lake, you tell me if it was worth it! They got a litttle more snow then I thought.. should of brought the Tacoma The easy part of the walk Watch for those soft spots around creek mouths! An hour walk through the bush breakin trail A start Little guy! Meager with one And another Close up Myself with a nice splake Chirs with a 7lber Beauties We landed 23 between the four of us only keepin 5 most were between .5 - 1 lb. Hope you enjoyed.. if you shore cast early in the morning with floating roe you may get some bows.. They start moving in close this time of year. but you gotta cast really far out... like wade to your waist then cast... hope this helps ya. Chromer

Hey guys Headin up to Mattawa this weekend staying at Samuel du Champlain. P.P. If anyone can give me a few tips or spot in this area either from shore or accesable with a small tinner. Hey guys I'm going camping in the Mattawa area next week and was wondering if there were any descent shore spots to catch some walleyes.. I know of a dam on the ottawa river just north of Mattawa. Anyone fished it?.. I will have a small 8ft flat bottom with a 4 hp motor, so I gotta keep outta the fast current and big water.. Any Suggestions would be a big help Thanks in adavance Chromer
