last i was there i just went straight onto the offroad right in front of you from the main entrance, parked and walked through the weed up the little hill to the damn area. Climed down the extrermely dangerous rocks, and was pretty good, caught a small pike - from there we decided to keep walking the long path way along side the damn, all the way around and had to fight our way to a section out in the lake, but not even a bite there - cloe to where that dear hunting cabin thing is ... next time instead of going straight i turned left from the main entranc, and parked at the last parking and just walked down and started fishing there but that where i lost alot of tackle, coz of the rocks, i tried heading back towards the damn, but there were some black swans there i think they just had babes and were not to inviting - they started charing towards me so i had to run away!! hahah it was funny - i think i dropped a loonie up there man! i am going to shade mills lake cambridge this weekend we will see how it goes, just hit le baron and picked up some spinner bait and a buzz bait as well - man fishing is really eating into my budjet this stuff is nto cheap!

Hey folks - any one have some advice for a newer fisherman with no boat.. i usually go to a place called binbrook here in Hamilton. problem is there are lots of rocks right at the shore - this past weekend i lost about 15 bucks worth of tackle, i think its because i generally use sinkers - to get a good cast out but they always get caught up as i am realing back in - i dont really have a preference of fish that i am trying to catch - just trying to catch any thing... someone mentioned spinner bait - is that ideal for rock fishing? any suggested setups that maybe more effective... thank you!

that is the sadest thing ever - i hope its fair to say the gentlemen passed doing what he loved - as for the theif - he deserves life!

errrrr man another day with no luck - went to binbrook - at one point i was using a slip shot free on the line with a small slip at about 12 inch before the hook + a spinner worm harness with plastic worm - KEPT getting it stuck in the rocks! i probably lost about 15 bucks worth of tackle today - any advise with fishing in rocks? at one point as i was realing in - i think it was a bass, chaed my lure it as it came closer to the shore but then just ran away, i think i realed in too quick - if i had was a bit slower would of got em!!! errrr atleast i got the fresh air...
-

Hey folks - i actually just picked up a rod for the first time this summer - all this summer i went fishing 7 times and all i caught was 1 small fish. I have tried a few differnt jig setups and i know what i am doing wrong is my rigging. I usually go to Binbrook on the mountain in hamilton - once i went to this populate pond out in caledon i think it was called Huffy - aevery one around me was catching but i did not even have a bite... can any one suggest some web sites were i can learn about proper rigging of the line i.e. where the bobber goes, compared to the weight compared to the hook, i know its preliminary but gotta start somewhere thanks!!
