Sunken Islands and Reefs always produce for me...

I've become a fan of Shallow Sandy Beaches adjacent to deeper water for just about any species swimming in the lake

Beaver Dams and fallen trees are usually Bass condos!

Perch and Hot Head

Your lucky to have received as much info as you did Johnny Boy....Usually, newbies that come in and blatantly ask members for hot spots get blasted.

good weekend warmup for the season, good lookin report!

as Reefrunner was sayin, we ventured up mid day and were skunked, i think that spot only really produces for a few weeks out of the year. we tried heading out that way at night to test our luck but had a hard time navigating and decided to head back in.

If you want to target the eyes i would stick to the reefs in the main bay (Woods Bay) big water, but probably biggest populations of em too.

there are monsters of all species in this area, but they can be hard to come by. troll the channels between your basin and woods bay and cast into the reeds for some monster pike and 'skies. We had luck with believers and big bucktails. either you see em or you dont, that area can be hit or miss, but perseverance pays off huge if you keep your line in the water.

Massassauga PP is full of em...last time i portaged to clear lake we stayed on an island on the south end and saw one sunning itself on the rocks. beautiful snake.

I just took this picture addy79, but even though it didn't come out too clear it should give you a basic idea to make up some leaders.
