  1. Congrats on the new boat and all!

Man i'm jealous, i went through the uni app process almost 2 years ago and am hoping to get a boat soon as well. The only problem i have is that there's no where to park it. I guess i'll have to stick with my canoe for now.

I don't know much about boating stuff since i don't own one, one thing i thought of tho, is to get good quality lifejackets. It is a safety concern and i'd suggest you not to get the cheap ones. They are usually bulky and they get uncomfortable if you stay on the water for quite a while (plus you have to cast and such).

I remember seeing your smallie report at BOQ last summer/fall, best of luck on the uni apps. It's almost over and you can fish as much as you want after you get the acceptances :)

  2. I can't believe it's been almost half a year since i've had a fish on my line ... was in residence (sept-dec) so i missed out on the fall fishing ... on top of that all my hooks are too big for the fish in my fish tank :dunno: ...

There's going to be light rain tonight and apparently it's 30km/h SW winds tomorrow according to the weather network. I'm still new to steelheading so i'm just wondering if it's a good idea to head out or if it's "fish-able" tomorrow.

Any help is appreciated and if you don't want to disclose the information here please PM me. Thanks!

    If it's a no-go i guess i'll spend my day at basspro ...

  3. I think this is like asking a kid if he/she can ever have too many toys ...

Personally, i will say no to that question until i win the lottery one day and buy BassPro + Fishing World (BassPro doesn't have any carp stuff) ... one day .... one day *keeping my fingers crossed*

I'm far from the point where there's nothing to upgrade ... i wish that i'm there ... it's just too hard trying to decide what i should get first and what i should leave on my "wish-list" for next year.

If you don't need anymore upgrades on tackle, maybe look into safety gear? I'm sure your wife would be okay with that :D. (that's why i should buy all my stuff when i'm still single lol)
