just had my home inspected and the inspector said i need to replace the plastic vent as well.. i asked him and he did say that the flex pipe is sufficient for code..

hey guys, got the abu combo courtesy of the tyler auction, and have a question about the reel (1003LP), seeing as i can't find a user manual anywhere, one of you guys/gals must be able to help..

does temperature affect the anti-reverse functionality? reason i ask, is that i've been out a few times playing around, getting the hang of it, and i've noticed that the anti-reverse sometimes works, most of the time it doesn't.. anytime i've been out casting into actual water its been at or below freezing, and the handle (on probably 90% of my casts) spins backwards..

a couple weeks ago, when it was warmer out, i was dinking around with it in the yard, and the anti-reverse was working like a charm.. the same thing from this past weekend, while I was playing with it inside, the anti-reverse never failed..

any ideas?

wow.. i'm still in shock.. with all the hype around gsp being unbeatable, this is unreal.. he'll come back and be better for it..

i'm going to go on record now and say lindland beats fedor on sat. that would be icing on the cake with all the big upsets this year..

the fertitta's actually bought pride, so technically it wasnt the ufc, or zuffa inc.. and as grizz said, they're 'supposed' to be operating as seperate entities, but since all ownership is on the same page, the dream fights are supposed to happen..

there's actually been quite a bit of rumbings goin on in the forums that ufc are going to announce big nog. as an aquisition tonite.. which would be really cool.. i also think on the pride side of things, if this is true, it opens up for a Barnett / Fedor fight..

sokudjou ktfo'ing lil' nog was a huge upset (i think the odds were +1600).. that said serra beating gsp would be huge..

i'm looking forward to guillard / stevenson.. i really have a dislike for guilard so i hope he gets tapped out..

just to play the devils advocate (i already put my vote for gsp in)... serra isnt a can, he went the distance with karo, and penn.. that was a freak shot that he took against shonie.. if georges gets sloppy, he could very well get caught in a sub.. and we'd have a 10-1 underdog win..

i'd be actively looking for new work, but wouldnt leave without having another job secured. i'd also negotiate the required vacation time at the new job.. i did that with my current job... basically made sure i had the employment offer on the table, then asked for an unpaid 10 days for a trip i had booked and paid for.. got it (paid) no problems..

the bottom line is that you have to look out for whats best for your family.. i dont think getting fired etc would benifit them too much.. unless your wife can carry all the costs of living.. and as its been said before getting fired and having a history of disputes with your boss wouldn't go over too well with me if i was interviewing you for your next job..

Shop around you will see the differnent quality suits it took me a month to decide the problem was I could not find the maustang I wanted in my size in red or orange so I bought the yellow.There should be some bargains coming .There may be slim pickings for sizes.

i think it would be dependant on the situation.. i wouldn't be upset if people were in my hut (or cottage for that matter) if they had to take refuge due to being lost, or someone being injured, but if it were just a couple of monkeys going out onto the ice in search of an open hut i would be angry..

Zulu is a can though

KTFO.. i completely agree about the everyone having black belts.. belt colours are slightly overrated though for mma..

i dissagree about how much trouble anderson was in.. i rewatched the fight and there's absolutley nothing behind any of lutters punches while in the mount..

lindland v. silva would go down the same as lutter v silva, except lindlands gnp would finish silva..

i also think that if machida could make 185 he'd give silva a run.. and maybe in a year gsp would take the belt from him too..

the more i think about it, the better i think he is for the ufc.. the popularity is really exploding and they need someone who can clearly explain whats going on to the newcomers... he's definately annoying and over the top in some circumstances... probably the only one suitable to replace him would be Bas.

just to add to my last post: he does have a bjj brown belt, so he is quite knowledgable..

although this is only a thread on a fishing mesage board, i like the fact that this thread hasnt turned into the sort of free for all bashing that happens on some of the mma forums..
