  1. I can't describe to you how to attach the trailer... I do it all the time, our house trailer, the utility trailer, boat trailer and everytime it is never the same. I can say you make sure the little thingy is up that the things inside grab the ball properly, that your electric brakes and lights all work... cause if you are anything like me, and have a significant other that isn't handy you need to do these things yourself. Learning to back up as close as possible is awesome as is one of those wheels that goes on the end of your trailer to help move it around. I am sure someone will come along and explain it to you fully... but one thing to always remember... Hook the trailer up first... cause by the time you get everything packed, make sure everyone is ready to go, you are going to be frustrated and wanting to get out of there and if something just doesn't go right it gets terribly frustrating fast!

Hope you enjoy that boat once you get it... great thread, can't wait to see the answers that follow!

  2. My uncle taught me to clean fish... this past summer I was fishing at his trailer with my son who caught his first pike...you have to eat the first real fish you catch... so I fillet it to everyones dismay... that was probably the best fish we have ever eatten... what a surprise... should have tried it years ago, but everyone always said, pike were not for eatting.

  3. My dad raised three girls and a boy, whenever we would be driving him crazy he would take us all down to the water and put us in a boat to fish...Made us all fall in love with those peacefilled competative moments... I will post pictures tomorrow once I get them scanned... of course they are all of him fishing with my brother. He avoids taking us girls out on fishing trips these days... although I think he may be changing in his old age as I did manage to get him to take me with him and my brother to the fishing show this year. He takes my three boy out on his boat and has taught them what pulling in a big bass is all about.

  4. I've heard others say "you probably have a bubble or air in your system". I've also consistently heard "fuel pump".

Just so I know, how do you get an "air pocket" or bubble in your system?

    Thanks.

Sounds to me like a fairly easy solution... take your car in to a shop and ask them to do a rad flush and replace your thermostate...it won't be very expensive and you won't have to keep guessing. From what I have read here it doesn't seem as if you do your own repairs and either way your car will run so much better even if those were not the issues. Just don't let the repair guy give you a whole song and dance about "what else needs to be done"... tell him right off the bat, just do these things. Otherwise it will be an additional $80 in labour while he wanders around your car looking for more problems.

    Cheers Jen
