  1. I agree with Blake, look at Bluewater Optics. Hey Blake, I didn't call you Rick
  2. I would like to send out my prayers to everyone directly affected by this senseless waste. In the coming days and weeks there will be lots said as to what could, why didn't, may be if, well it's too late. What it is, is time to understand that today is not yesterday and yesterday will never happen again. Change is what is required and it is the type of change that affects everyone. This too is not new, may be some day it will be understood and the action(s) required to stop these terrible things from taking place will come to pass. Bless all those gone; hopefully the strength to shoulder the burden given them will be given, to the many that now desperately need it.
  3. The only thing that'll work is if we all start looking at and lots of us purchase Hybrid and electric vehicles. Next thing is to start asking the manufacturers why there are not more Trucks, SUVs and Vans with the ability to tow our boats and other stuff that are either electric or a hybrid. The more of us that ask and push for this, the more nervous the gas companies will be and do everything in their collective powers to hold the price down to stop the market place from leaving them where we should leave them anyway - out of business. Boycotts one day or 10 days will only affect the pour guy we purchase it from, remember, the gas companies already sold it to him and that is that from their budget point of view. So please let’s either do something or at least stop shipping this ridiculous boycott idea around making me delete yet one more piece of %^$). Thx, Wayne
  4. They are very nice indeed. Best of luck to you in either completing what you feel should be done or having someone else doing it for you.
  5. Terry, I agree with your sentiment and what you said. It is extremely sad to hear about our solders being placed in harms way, and terrible to hear when tragedies of this nature take place. We taught them that the distance between where they are and where we are means nothing and the oceans on our shores are not large enough to stop them from coming here and doing what they want. Yes I refer to 911, but let us not forget the 18 or 20 individuals whom have been waiting for their day in court that were arrested almost 2 years ago in Toronto for terrorism. From the little that has leaked it is plain that this is not just a smoking thing from dry ice but has a real fire under it. It'll take time to iron the whole thing out and I'm sure not all arrested should have been, but there will be those that it was the correct thing to be done. And that makes it all the sadder. So, it's not the 1960's, it post 911 and we have one choice, fight now there and attempt to change what we can or wait and who know what building or sub-way or what have you will be the next target. I hate this, I hate that we need to be there, I wish it was what I feel every time I'm on Erie, or Simcoe or some place and have a smallie just smash the jerk I'm fishing. I wish everyone everywhere felt that and not that for some reason or another that they have to expend all their energy and resources to do things like were committed on 911. Most of all, I hope these and those who have fallen before them, that their families realize at what high esteem these men and women are held by all of us, regardless to our opinions of this particular action our Armed Forces are involved in. 6. Hi, Cabela's is a good choise of course, but local tackel shopps like Fishing World, or Grimby Tackel sell them and can give you some good advise. I have 4 of them and take two with me at all times. Ther are only two real points to understand starting out. First, make sure you put the pull in line tied to the loop at small end of the cone - much easier pulling it in with no water in it. Second, make sure you have several places on both sides to tie it off to and that you have ensured these cleates or whatever are well secured. Wayne
  7. That was very cool. Saw the pike or musk, but also a few nice bass. Any idea what river this was filmed in? Wayne Gatt
