  1. just got back last night from another trip into Lac Dumoine and 10 Mile Lodge. Another fun trip in the books. Tough fishing but we caught our limit and had two great fish fries. One of the things we also had to do was put a memorial plaque on an island on the lake to commemorate the life and good times of my buddy Bob Proulx, who passed away last fall. Got it done (pictures to follow) and had a little shot of Sambuka as a toast. Anyway, the fishing was really tough, probably the toughest in 35 years of going up there. I don't know if it's all the storms, the wacky weather or the high water but the bigger ones just weren't bitting. And everyone we talked to were saying the same. Still had a great time, though.

  2. Sounds like the battery is now bad and you are a bit out of luck. I would contact the seller and see what they can do for you. I had another budget brand send me a new battery after some troubleshooting to determine it was wrecked after a year or so. DC House also makes Ecoworthy. Both are on the more suspect end of budget batteries. BMS's can be a little touch and go on them and let the battery go below 10Volts. If that happens its tough to come back from. Li-Time, Power Queen, Wattcycle are all batteries that have been reviewed that have good performance. Check out Will Prowse on Youtube and his tear downs. Good info there on budget batteries BM

  3. I think you’re typically only protected by a warranty when dealing with batteries. Hence your play that gamble of buying from the likes of an impulse or Dakota to get their 10 year warranty, or you buy off of Amazon for half the price and hope you don’t get fried.
