I was born and raised in Deep River areas and this area is still the place where I know the best spots to fish. After spending 20 yrs in Oshawa, we just moved to North Bay which I am now in the process of learning the fishing and camping spots. It's like being in the middle of a candy store and not knowing which candy to race to first!

I have only ever managed to catch bass and the odd pike over the years and am really looking forward to hooking up with my first walleye and maybe a muskie at some point. I am not fussy really, almost any fish is good!

At the moment I have a 14 foot sportspal square back canoe with a 3 hp on her, so my options are pretty flexible as long as I can get to the lake with my minivan
