Yes quads and yes sleds but it is very sketchy. Where there was more snow the ice did not build the same. I would not recommend taking the quad just yet

I landed 4 but be careful out there still. I found a lot of ice with only 2 inches out in the middle of kemp bay. A few spots the spud went through in one shot

Any sleds or quads are out? I was hoping to bring sled this weekend to BBP.

We go to Tamara every winter. Bruce is a great host and I can't wait to get there.

We'll be there for early walleye action in 4 weeks.

Nice choice Misfish. I had Marcums (LX-3/LX-5, Vex FL 18) and moved to Lawrence x67c and now to Elite 4x.

I don't want to add more oil to the fire but will completely agree with previous posters. What's next, pinpoint the spots from the plane?

Picked up HH Alpha and at the end, felt very comfortable and really like suspender system/pockets For $330 if was a good deal vs Mustang Atlantic and Integrity HX lines.

I might look at Mustangs over the weekend again but most likely will keep HH Alpha.

I thought of getting two piece suit but decide to stick with one.

I have a choice of HH Alpha as well but I've heard that HH suites get very stiff when the temps are drop?

I use to have Integrity HX and really liked it.

Assuming that the suit is properly stored before purchase, than I would think nothing to worry about.

Be sure to ensure that all the floation in the suit, is in the right place. After time, the floatation in the suit will move, making it far less than ideal.

thanks HH. Well how do we know..these are big box stores. Most likely suites were in storage during off season.

I gave away my Mustang to a friend last season. I have a choice between Mustang Atlantic class made in 2011 vs Integrity HX made in 2013. Atlantic will be about $80 less vs HX.

Also picking up Integrity HX float bibs for mid season and Catalyst jacket.

How important is the manufacture date on float suits? I see a brand new Mustang float suit (Atlantic Class) dated November 2011 being sold in some stores.

I read through this thread and congrats to all of you who quit this habit and to all who provided their support and advice.

It's been 8 days for me quitting cold turkey. I'm 36 and smoked for 20 years. Most of the these years I smoked 10 cigarettes a day but for last year I smoked 3 a day but it was still very tough on weekends with few beers + my fishing/hunting trips.

I've decided not to icefish this year just to keep away from smoking habit So far it feels great and I hope it will continiue this way. I've tried quitting before but always slipped after a few days.

Their daughter's a pleasant gal... can't help other than that. She knows more about fishing than most men, so I can only imagine she learned it from her father. I've heard good things about the place, but can't give any details as to accoms. Lots of "back" lakes accessible thru portages off of Cassels and Rabbit. You'd have to really pick your days to sled thru town and onto Temagami if you wanted to pull huts. Sled only... carbides are cheap I guess. I've done it twice, but enough snow on road to do so.

For the past 3 years our ice fishing crew went to Tamar island in Temagami and stayed with Bruce. This year we decided to visit Northland Paradise Lodge and make it our base camp, fish Rabbit Lake and travel on sleds to Temagami to run and gun

Any experience or advice with Northland Paradise lodge? We are going there for lakers opener.
