Hey Lund Guy , nice to meet you.I have a 19ft. Alumacraft at my home base on Lake Erie, ,a 14ft. Slyvan at my trailer on the West Arm of Nipissing where I do most of my fishing and a 12ft. tinny for fishing the crappie ponds around home. I am 62, retired, and refer to myself as a full time fishing bum. Maybe we will bump into each other this summer.

John, I am right handed and cranking with my right hand just feels more natural but when trolling with a tiller steering a left hand crank works better for me because I don't have to switch hands on the rod when I get a strike and risk having slack line to the fish.

Hey Urban, I was born and raised in Port Credit, moved to St. Williams,15 min. from Frogmore in 2000,and now do most of my fishing one hour south of Sudbury on Lake nippissing at Monetville.I seem to be going in the opposite direction of you.hope to see you on Lake Erie some time.There is some fantastic smallmouth fishing in the inner bay.

Not a lot of spots to shore fish down here.There is a pier and little park at the end of Main St. in Port Rowan and another pier you can fish in Port Dover about 30 min. away.

I bought the Navonics Hot Map card yesterday, installed it in my unit to check it out .It looks pretty accurate for the area I am familar with on the West Arm.

Black Blade.I tried a 700 A booster on a 12ft. with a 34lb Minnkota and after 30 min. of stop and go I had to break out the paddle.
