ive got a garmin for in the car but want to give it to my wife so she doesnt call me asking which way to turn and want the handheld cause it will do everything. so how much is all this going to cost? the water, land and road maps are all separate? and how big of an area are the maps, north america, canada, ontario or just a smaller area?

im looking to buy a handheld but need some info. looked at one on sale at can tire but the clerk was of no use. i would like to be able to use it in the truck, boat and bush. my questions are: 1- are they loaded with road maps and do they talk you to your destination like the ones for your car? 2- do the topo maps have all the water depths or just land elevations? 3- any make and models you guys suggest? thanks for any help

if the oil leaking from the prop is black and the lower gear oil is clean then it must be something else right? they would be the same oil? how much exaust staining could there be?

ok i just finished with the boat did some searches on how to.... now, i stabilized the gas, fogged the cylinders and then noticed black oil leaking from the prop. so i checked the lower unit oil and it is fine not black or milky. allthough when i open the drain plug expecting the oil to shoot out it didnt, so i remove it totaly and it slowly leaked out? is this because the oil is very thick or is the level very low?

how do properly winterize your motor? and is there anything else you do for the boat?

how is it easy to spot?

i used to store them in the basement in the winter, but last year i forgot them in the garage. do you think this is were the problem started?

my trolling motor is draining really fast. it is set up with 12v or 24v and even the 24v is not as strong as it used to be. the batteries are fully charged before i go out. 1 battery is new, the other is from 2004 and are both deep cycle. is there is test i can do to see if they are holdin charge?

i have seen lots of carp and some panfish with bullhead in the holland belly up.

those are the old ones, the new ones look 100 times better and i think are MAKO brand.

does it turn the water blue/green?

i guess i stirred the pot.................................. ok so how about one carp?... one cant really have that much impact, can it? ... a small one, a few pounds and no reproducing, any harm in that?.................. do they really eat fish eggs?

Have you used them? They are actually quite good compared to the ones they had years ago. With increasing prices of everything, its nice if you lose a lure that it is only a buck instead of $10. I think you all should pick some up and try them out. Great colors, great rattles, maybe just put some better hooks on.

my pond is very hard to fish due to the overgrowth of different weeds, would introducing a couple carp help with this??

simcoe is a big lake and for me it is hard to find all the good fishing spots. i am used to small lakes with lots of structure and simcoe is a little overwhelming. can someone please tell me where the bass are ( i heard by the islands, is that the big one or the small ones?) also any info on lakers like depth and locations would be helpful. thanks

Last week i saw 3 dead carp in lower cooks bay, and today i went canoeing in the holland river near canal rd and saw close to a dozen dead, along with a few panfish.

i have tried on canal road and near the bridge at bradford with not much luck. I used to live in mississauga where i knew i could catch huge carp, but have not really found any good spots up here. Looking for you other carpers to help me out, cause i know there are big ones in the simcoe/ holland waters. thanks
