I have 2008 25 h.p. tiller and have absolutely no issues with it and it is real good on fuel and quiet. I have a 16 ft. Starcraft camp model and the Suzuki will push it at 30 kph with 2 people and gear. I'm very satisfied. Hope this helps. Mike

Anyone have information on ice conditions on Lake Bernard? Might head up, but it's always nice to have first hand reports.
Thanks.
The deepest part of lake Bernard froze over a week ago so be very careful I see a couple of shacks off of union street but the guy at Lake Bernard Outfitters doesn't have huts out yet. Hope this helps Mike

If you are using an auger just leave it if you are cutting a big hole like they do on Simcoe make sure you mark it. Good luck

Thanks,
If I can find a place to park, and go out on the ice, I'm ok?
Stupid question, but is any lake like this public domain? I know lakes or ponds with no road access are most likely going to be on someone's property, and I'm not looking for that, but if there is parking next to a lake its free game?
Also, once I am done fishing a hole, do I just leave it? Or put up some kind of marker for open ice holes?
Thanks so much, rookie just trying to learn and have fun!

My Wife and I were at a lake in Quebec August long weekend and the locals were killing pickeral with a lure something like that in chartreuse trolling with electic motors on humps that came up to about 8 ft. I think the green one should be good.Good Luck Mike

was at a buddys cottage 2 weeks ago... 3 big trees down on the 1km private road into his place.... luckly we always bring a saw with us
We started cutting our way to the camp at 8:30 yesterday and had trail wide enough to get the atvs to the camp at 3:00. There are 83 trees down so it will be a while yet before we get the truck in. The good thing is there was no damage to the camp and there will be no shortage of campfire wood for next year. Mike

"Gentek Building Products"
You measure the size of windows you need, then order them.
It takes 2 weeks for them to make them and they are good windows!
Thanks Skeeter keep up the good work..Mike
