I just purchased myself the Lowrance Elite-5-dsi and I just wanted to know if any of you guys have it or have ever used it?? what did u think?

thanks for all the tips guys... also i'd like to know where is harmony creek Ive never heard of it?? I usually go to jacksons point but it's been crappy there for the last few years, and same goes for the oro side of the lake... thats why I want to try somewhere other than simcoe.

I usually go to simcoe for smelts but i would like to try some new spots. I have a group of guys that i usually go with and they would be happy to hear of a place that will produce smelts for once..

Does anyone know where I could do some smelt fishing or if there even running??

Sorry to here about your trouble but I own a tracker n it's a 2003 and I love it it has never given me a problem yet everything works great! Hope u get all the problems worked out.

Has anyone seen the huge article about that snakefish that they think is starting to invade the great white north?? This is the worst thing that could happen to our local fishing waters. This thing has lungs and gills so it could live out of water for up to 4 days and they say that if it comes our local fish don't stand a chance... If you don't know about it look it up it really makes you think.

what is the differance between a fish finder and a sonar or sounder?? what is the better buy? im looking for something for general fishing but not hard to use..
