I witnessed a leaf fan sucker punch and knock 3 teeth out of a Sens fans mouth
That's two more teeth than I expected him to have.
Gotta say, I would be puking in the garbage cans too, if I had to spend any amount of time in that dump of a city.
Ottawa sucks.

REAL fans don't switch allegiance, and those that do are fans of the sport, NOT a specific team. REAL LEAF fans, will always be a LEAF fan.
Those that flip were never fans to begin with........,don't let the door hit you on the way out.........

I just checked his stats and this bum has 0 goals and 0 assists!!! fire the bum!!!

These companies aren't in this to win a Stanley Cup, they aren't in it to win games or make it to the playoffs.
They're in it to show return to the shareholders and that's the problem.
As long as the corporation is making money with the status quo
Do you have any idea how much $$$$ is generated because of the playoffs???
If making $$$$ is ALL the team wants, than it is CERTAINLY in their best interest to make the playoffs. Your whole way of thinking is not correct, sorry.

it's really a disgrace that Nolan has seemingly been blackballed from the NHL. Great guy, who had players who were willing to lay it all on the line for him. He demanded his players actually play hard. Never heard a former player say anything negative about the man, except for how hard he worked them, which is a good thing. Bring him back, anywhere !!!!!
-
Maybe--Captain of an eastern Canadian team to make the finals within recent memory or winner of Presidents trophy
Who was the leaf captain in 1967---the last time they made the finals
aka 45 years ago or 2.25x the years the Sens have been playing in the modern era
Springsteen sings it---"Glory days....they'll pass ya by..."
another failed "justification".......
Yes, it has been that long since the Leafs WON, I repeat WON, the Cup.., at least when we get there we win it.
Unlike the ottawa Chokers.
Would'nt bring up the obvious but the dedication is gettin kind of deep--soon in need of a shovel.

I'd give credit for the Calder trophy for Top NHL rookie though, that's impressive.
So have Barrett Jackman and Andrew Raycroft..............impressive

- 1996-97 – Played in NHL All-Star Game
- 1997-98 – Played in NHL All-Star Game
- 2003-04 – Played in NHL All-Star Game

OH, Sorry, didn't realize he won the penalty killing award, my bad.
Get real, nothing you stated proves he is an elite player, decent...yes, let alone worthy of being praised.
-
why praise alfie??????? what has he EVER done????
multiple cup wins, or even one.....no
won an MVP award......................no
won scoring title(s).......................no
respected by other players..........no
headed to Hall of Fame......... HAHA
thouroughly dominated by Leafs in playoffs....................YYYYYUUUPPP
ya, praise KRUSTY, LOLOLOLOL
-
no matter the end result this season, the Leafs ARE Canada's team. I don't recall ever hearing "go senoritas go" in LA, Minny, Tampa, etc..... but GO LEAFS GO reverberates throughout the arenas around the NHL.
Ottawa fan, I'll explain the "big" word to you, if you need.
Hahaha Senoritas, even in your home rink, KRUSTY gets booed. LOLOL
-
^^^^^^
maybe so....but which team will you be a "fan" of, at that point in time ??
-
i wondered why leaf fans cling to this "sens choking" thing but then i realize that it's because they are the last team the leafs beat in a playoff series (almost a decade ago)... so what does this mean, that the leafs CHOKE in the regular season?
much like opponents of the Leafs cling to the Kessel trade ??
Some people..........
Leaf fans are REAL FANS, we don't flip teams when we hit a rough patch. the ones that do flip, were never REAL FANS to begin with.
-
like I said, Doc, YOU brought up Burkes handling of the leafs, so my response was directed at YOU.
As was my point, aside from the kessel trade, which was covered above, what has Burke done that hasn't been positive? going from avg age of 35-36 to current avg of what 23-25? adding upgrades to our team by getting rid of dead weight contracts from Fergusons days, please enlighten me.
yes the senoritas.
-
Doc, how has Burke set us back ?? I've asked that many times, and never gotten more than Kessel for picks.....um, POTENTIAL talent for proven talent, most agree it's a non issue. aside from Komi, he traded away dead weight, older players, to obtain young, fast talent. How does this set you back further than staying with status quo.
It's not like Burke walked into an all star team roster.
-
pavel datsyk is my definition of a well rounded player. phil kessel is a floater, but hey, he's not on my team... what do i care?
p.s. seguin has a cup, can kessel say that?
nobody cares about Boston, this is mostly about the Senoritas, who will be watching Canada's real team, Toronto, in the playoffs. Even better would be a matchup with them IN the playoffs, easy way for Toronto to advance.........
-
Don't forget Seguin is technically a leftover, Edmonton took Hall 1st if I recall, neither is a bad choice, but comparing them to Kessel at the time of the deal, us beyond idiotic. They could have/maybe will become a bust.
Hard to call Kessel a bust.
-
Leafs > Senoritas.......... end of story.
-
which is what happens when you piss all your picks away on a one dimensional scorer.
Do YOU follow hockey at all ? Kessel is VERY well balanced...30 goals - 32 assists.
One dimensional is more appropriate as far as your views go....
-
Short of the last couple years(which are looking better) the Sens have had an outstanding record over the last 15yrs....can you say that?
last 15 yrs in playoffs, when it matters, I would say, yes, vs Ottawa I CAN say that.....
I would say good luck to you going forward, but apparently your team is just too good/skilled/young/talented to need it.
It's too funny how everyone in Canada is jealous of Toronto, in general, and it always comes through sports. I guess I would be too, if I lived in butthurtville.
Good luck in your many fights on the Internet tonight.......
I hope you win many arguments over the internet tonight.
-
Don't recall seeing Ottawa on his list of places to play lol
Nor on any other superstars wishlist, third rate city and fans at best. You know it's bad when your own captain gets booed on home ice, just saying....
-
fighting? we're in 8th, 4 pts behind Ottawa, with 2 games in hand, I think we are both fighting the same fight.
Btw who was your team before Ottawa? Surely you have been a faithful fan of the same team like Toronto fans are............

Keep on buying those tickets though, funny how the hockey center of the universe is actually a black hole of garbage and bad moves!!!
Bwahahahahahaa
says the guy with how many Stanley cups to their name.........please tell us of the incredible moves your GM made to obtain those cups for you.
I'd be mad if I lived in a third rate city as well.
Bwahahaha, but seriously.....,,

I am still curious as to why Alfalfa should be praised????? never done ANYTHING, and gets booed in his home rink............please don't say Olympics, that team was CLEARLY carried by Sundin.
