He had a ground blind,he said the elk was looking at me while I yelled holy crap! He stayed feeding for about 5mins.

During a moose bow hunt this weekend, I saw a huge bull elk come right under my tree stand, I dident get any time for a photo! Did you here that the mnr are thinking of a experimental ontario elk hunt next fall?

Im trying to get the 5lb brookies in my lake but they are at 30ft!When will they come shallow and how can I get them deep?

Iam trying to find the brookies in my "secret" lake but i cant get them! I keep marking them at 30 feet, When are they going to go shallow and what do I use for them when they are deep and spawning?

You can get em at about 12-15 feet here in northern ontario, caught some five pounders last summer at that depth.

Thanks, ive heard that the mouth of the current river is good, im not sure if its the mouth that gose into boulivard lake or the mouth at lake superier?If I do fish at boulivard just for the fun of it what would I use? Worms, minnows or spinners?

Thanks,I might try cascades conservation area ,or the part of the macintyre river that flows through confederation college, I saw some photos in a bait shop of a guy with what seemed to be a 5lbs brookie from boulivard lake dam? Can anyone confirm this?
