There used to be an awesome diving board on the pier in town there. Double decker thing. Lots a fun.

Yes. That is a big time saver!

Pre fishing - I have everything packed and ready to rock. Any special rigs for that day are tied, and waiting. I leave a little list on the table of items I need to grab out of the fridge, so I don't forget anything.

Once I start fishing, I'm very patient. No rush. Fishing is my form of meditation, I just want to relax.

Post fishing - I make sure everything in the boat is ready for being tailored before I get to the launch. In and out, not more then a few minutes. Only once have I been a boat launch hero, when I forgot my plug. That's really the only time I rush, it at the launch.

We managed about 8 of them last time we where up there. Nothing really big though, and no spots.

My dog hasn't left my side since I got home from work an hour ago..

I took my little 12' tinner out for a test drive before listing it in the classifieds. Nice calm evening on Cooks bay. I brought my neighbour out with me to do a little perch fishin. Caught a ton of dinks, and lots of sun fish. No perch bigger then 8".

Caught this guy in the middle of the bay, 30' of water.

I've caught lots of catfish, but never one with spots like this.

Some sort of sickness or parasite?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that Tims used to have Extra Large coffies that where huge. A few years back, maybe 6 or 7, they dropped there sizes down smaller.?

but like someone said in a previous post make sure you are prepared with headlight and flashlights etc to make it easier to get the fish in the boat properly.

Boat lights, head lamp, flash light, and sometime I'll take my 3,000,000 candle power spot light too.
