I've fished the part right near Lake-O in the rouge-hill area many times. I've only caught bullheads, but theres always plenty of people carp fishing there and the last few times there I've seen a lot of fairly big ones being pulled out. Apparently theres pike in there and I remember a small one being pulled from there many years ago. Good luck.

Hello there, Lately I've been fishing with carp, tried corn, maize, luncheon meat etc. All tied on hair rigs with no sucess. I'm going to try making boilies with a recipe i found online, but was curious if theres any shops in toronto or the area that have them pre-made which I could buy and save the hastle of me making them. Hello there, Girlfriend and myself booked a cabin on buckhorn at scotsman point for our graduation trip. I've fished the kwarthas a few times this season, but I'm not too familiar with buckhorn. I want to show her a good time and catch some decent sized fish. Anyone got any tips for this lake as in decent spots or what type of gear to use. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers.

Thanks for the warm welcomes and info everyone. I'll be fishing from shore with the girlfriend and I'll definately try some of the mentioned spots above. Hopefully I get some luck, shes new to fishing and I want her to get her first pike. Thanks for the help.

Hello All, I'm new to this forum, heard about it from one of my buddies. I've been fishing for most of my life since I was a child and found this forum to be quite informative regarding fishing in ontario. Since pike and walleye opened up on georgian bay yesterday I'm planning to make a trip out there sometime this week. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if they know of any good spots on the south/east part of the bay that would be good for pike? I've never fished Georgian bay before, but I've heard that its a great for pike. Any imput would be appreciated. Cheers.
