  1. Hey Fishmaster, I been waiting to reply on Sunday derby as there was a good chance I had to work BUT, No work on Sunday so I'll see ya then
  2. Lots of angle's to this Angle thing...What's your angle?
  3. I'm real new to the site BUT I genuinely look forward to seeing what's going every day. That's why I joined. Sites well run and like my star choice television I can pick and choose the channels that interest me, so not all threads are my fav's but I appreciate the courtesy and respect that mods have developed here. Got something you wanna ask? Just Ask?
  4. If the quality of the original is good...there is hope. rescan the snapshot using the best resolution your scanner has. Should be a better scan and something you can then "edit" ie: enhance colours brighten etc. The copy stores (the UPS and Mail Boxes etc.) have decent equipment to scan adn they can help you if your scanner just isn't working for you, I don't think they would charge more than a few dollars. Good luck, hopefully it's something you can share!
  5. Hi Pidge, I'm with FishFinder on the Thermos idea. I usually bring my Stainless steel with some hot Tomato soup, a sandwich and some snacks - granolas, apples a sleave of cookies, to keep busy when the bite is slow. I've brought a frying pan to Simcoe before and had a fish fry right in the hut...BUT we didn't togaggan everything in either. I have a pot of Goose Chili on the stove right now to stuff into the thermos for this weekend.
  6. Sorry Rich, Yes the water was lime green and we could only see our minnow down about 3ft in 6-7 FOW. The pic does show Poppers but to the right of them is Sherman's, the outfitter we used. I don't think anyone was really hitting fish last weekend in the Bay. I'd like to try it again later in the season. Ackers is not out of St. Williams and if they're open for business I'd be inclined to try them next time. Parking down at St. Williams is tight, actaully got pinched for a $30 fine for parking on the hill.
  7. Hat off to all of those pics excellent work! Keep them coming.
  8. Hey dmasse, thanks for the report nice to be able to roam around like that! Enjoy your supper.
  9. I figured out how pic posting...Enjoy
  10. Hi All, My first Post today, from LP Bay. we had one flurry today around 8:30 am and got about 10 perch in just a few minutes. We kept 2 fish 8.5 and a 12 incher all others released. About 10 am one of our rods drop. A 20 inch pike takes our minnow. we brought it to the hole when it decided to leave with our offering. 6 FOW Cloudy water conditions HUGE STORM 70 KLMS WINDS Well here are the pics. (Ok I'm having issues posting the pics (no fish pics just blizzard pics Will try again. Sorry.) Allright, Thanks to GbayGiant - I am able to share the pics of this last weekend. Thanks John,
  11. Good deal skevys01, I'm much too polite to ever catch all the fish either (it's never happend to me yet anyway's) Heading to Long Point this weekend for perch, but do want to make the trip to Quinte once before soft water. Thanks for the report
  12. Hey Xrap, My best buddy lost his father a few years ago when he drowned just 200 ft from shore in cold weather. They found his body quite far away from the anchored boat and he didn't have his boots on. Duber has a story, we all have heard of a story...for 50 bucks at CTC a life vest (at the very leas) is WELL worth it. May give you a chance to tell your own story.
  13. Hi all, I'd like to introduce myself to the board...been lurking for some time ( at work) but just got high speed at home So now I can see the entire posts onthe board. My name is Frank and I live near Cambridge. My wife and two teenage girls like to boat/fish while we're on summer holidays and I'm chomping at the bit to get out ice fishing in Long Point. Thanks eveyone for all of the tips on....well just about everything and I hope I can drop the odd pic from time to time. O yeah and the name Frankypro- it's not because I'm a pro at fishing, it's from the computer Golf game Links 386 years ago. When you played against the computer to practice you always played a " pro " Hence Frankypro was born.
