I have not did any videos on my cannon but I am more than impressed with the camera. And I like the SD card capability rather than the XD card of the olympus

We did okay but nothing like last year. We ended up using stingers to get the trout and then that was okay but they sure were not hitting hard. Our biggest for the week was 10.5 pounds sure cant seem to find the monsters that we know are there

Just got back from the opening week of fishing at lake temagami for trout. They were biting but not that well. They just would not hold on but by the end of the week they were getting better. Hope who ever goes up next has better luck. Good luck to all cause we certainly did not hurt the population lol.

I believe that the guys name is Lance White. We stayed there last year for the first time and he was very nice and reasonable. I just wanted to get a feel to see if the ice would be good enough to go out on with the truck and trailer. Would not want to become a stat

Ya we are going up on saturday or sunday. We will be staying at Camp Advance. Last year we drove the truck and trailer right there. But may not do that this year. I have a dodge diesel and a big enclosed trailer. Not sure if I would put that out on 14 inches of Ice just not worth it. It kind of sucks that you can not fish trout till monday but you can do other fish till that time. Sure is hard though when you get a nice trout and have to through it back

Yes we go moose hunting with Mark and also another fella from Cochrane named Mike. When we go hunting Mark brings one of his tents that they rent out for our moose camp, makes for an awesome place for camp.

Some pretty awesome shots of the lake and fishing. I go up to that area moose hunting each fall with a guy from Cochrane. Seen the pictures of the quarry and recongnized it cause that is the only spot where you can easlily get clean water for camp. Who does your chopper work for your camp, I assume it is Expedition.

Heading up this weekend and was wondering what the thickness of ice is like on the ice road.

My buddy made accomodations for us at Lance Whites place ( I think ) was just wondering what the ice depth was like on the ice road as to whether I would take the truck and enclosed trailer out on the ice. Read a little further up they were plowing with the five ton. I have a dodge diesel and a 27 foot enclosed trailer you input would put my mind at ease.
