Garry used to pop in here on his way to or back from his wintering in Arizona.
But the last time was definitely pre Covid. I hope he was well Bruce? He was looking fine. Said he had slowed down considerably

I was out at Mt Bridges for a craft and tackle show today and came across an old ghost. Was nice to have a wee chat with none other than Garry2Rs

Always room to learn and improve. You're an ex blue jacket. You'll do just fine.

A belated Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your clan. It looks like you have got more than one good fish fry there.
Depends on how many neighbours suddenly show up😁

With most of the offered programs, the basic goes so far. It's the extra protection that gets you. Almost as much in fees as the cost of a new laptop.

Been a long while since we've been able to get together. It was good. Big Cliff, crappieperchhunter, and yours truly had a great little GTG. Cliff, thank you for your gracious hospitality. We had a laugh, shared stories, and even did some fishin.

Some folks will plant bucket potatoes, but have a tomato plant growing with them.
We had our first feed of new spuds last week. Will dig some more with the grandkids

I sure remember the old days of smelt fishing but those days are long gone. I have fished smrlts through the ice down in Wellend and it was a lot of fun. They seamed to be smaller than what i remembered but tasted just as good. Would love to get into enough for a feed again but won't hold my breath. 😊
They seemed to have disappeared from those grounds since the salvage yard closed. Starting to weed up.

No dumping fish parts, we have just gone to bi weekly garbage pickup, should be able to crawl to the curb by itself by then.
You should see the poor trash collectors when they go to collect my compost. I've seen a couple of the fellas turn various shades of gray and green🤢🤮

It just keeps getting better, turns out Wholesalelobster AKA East Coast Lobster is nothing but a broker. They make it look like you are getting it shipped from Nova Scotia when in fact it was shipped from a seafood place in Kitchener. Total scam!
Just like those guys on the side of the highway, or at the market, selling seafood. It is all bought at the wholesale distributor and passed off as fresh off the plane. No different than the fake farmers and the food terminal.

Was there a few years back. 2014 to be exact. A few posts about Biscotasi. Brian is a good host. Fishing was good. Take a guide on the first day. It pays off big. Only point of supply is the General Store at the landing. Make sure you get gas at the corner before you pull onto the Sultan rd. And some sections of the timber road can get rough.
