    Why do you irrationally fear inanimate objects?

    Green minivans scare me more than Glocks, because them and their drivers are more likely to kill me.

     

     

    Why do you fear green mini vans ? why not red ones ? why not buicks?

     

    Oh its the driver that worries you !

     

    I have no fear of the gun , its the person who has possession of a (alledged) unregistered/illegal handgun who worries me . Purpose of the gun ? I could guess but that wouldn't be fair now would it ;)

     

    My legal , registered guns have a purpose :) No need to fear me .

    I got metal shavings in my Lund :o:o

     

    Too bad these salespeople feel they have to tear down other brands to make them selves look good.

     

    I used to help a friend out in the a/c business ( home shows etc) Customers favorite question at the booth was what makes your brand so much better than the rest .. his answer 'nothing . all the major brands are good products '

    he would then talk about his install and service being the difference.Worked for him.

     

    always liked that answer :)

    I've fished the city side of the causeway many times and never had any problems, but it's usually later at night. Never fished at the hydro plant, but I believe they will give you the boot for trespassing, heard of this happening to many people. Right now I would suggest taking a little drive North on Division St. Past the 401 untill you get to Kingston mills rd. only a couple km's. Take a left and drive down until you get to the locks. If you park in the parking lot, you can either go down below the locks and catch some panfish, or cross over the locks and head back towards the road, there is a walking path that will take you down by the generator station. Nice little pool in there with lots of flowing water. Have caught tons of perch/crappie/sucker and bass and pike when they are open. I never target carp but I sure do see a lot of big bruisers cruising threw there. Also have been told and seen pictures of salmon running there in the fall, not sure if the rainbows make the same run in the spring but you never know.

     

     

    carp next to the inlet for the 'holding pond" above the generator .

    This is in the river proper .

    Caught a scale there once LOL!

    It appears the house accross the street from us was the location for the most recent drug/gun bust in barrie!

     

    GUN SEIZED

    The Barrie Police street crime, drug enforcement, guns and gangs, and tactical support units executed a warrant on a home on Tuesday. Inside they discovered and seized a Glock 17 handgun, clip, ammunition and holster. They also found a small amount of marijuana and cash. A 29 year old man and 24 year old woman were both arrested and face several charges.

     

    any one want to buy a house :D

     

     

    All joking aside the guns part is no laughing matter.

    I was running around the yard parking vehicles under wings to use as anchors and adding ratchet straps before customers aircraft took flight without starting the motors!

     

     

    so thats what all those 'spare' vehicles are for ! :D

     

     

    Got a little chilley on my office in the afternoon :P
