Great news - thanks for the post!

Classic - nice work Wayne!

OK, so finally got around to taking a picture of the Bert's system on the boat.
There are two 4 foot tracks on the sides with the 8 foot bar across the back.
Here is a pic of the whole system:
One major safety component for the bigger water is that the riggers are mounted much higher up than they were before. This results in a much easier handling of the rods when the salmon hit, with the bar serving as a safety device as you can brace against it.
I'm running the ratchet rod holders which I highly recommend.
Here is a closer shot of the one side:
I'll be running two sets of Salties off the sides for the inline boards and/or dipseys off the braid and wire.
Followed by a side shot:
Still to come is the 9.9 kicker which will be added in the spring.
More as an alternate power source as the F-90 does a great job trolling in terms of sound and fuel economy.
In the larger rollers, a single point of power failure is not a good thing!

Nice work Rob!

Have a couple older RC 10s that the kids and I race around the ball diamond behind the house.
These relics are incredibly durable and we have a blast with them!

Nice looking hound!

Wow that boat in Sudbury is full price....
-
Very nice - congrats!

Good one - thanks for sharing!

I'm guessing that a 4 would be working fairly hard to push 3 mph into the wind with some rollers added for good measure.
I'll be using mine for trolling for Musky as well so I will need the extra speed.
If there is someone using a 4 hp on around 1000 lb vessel - it would be great to hear their feedback....

Forgot - Welded or Riveted?
-
Walleye...yes
Tiller....no way.
:-)

I'm in a similar situation and it will be either the 8 or the 9.9.
Not much price difference, so the 9.9 will probably win out.

Thanks for the feedback folks - placed the order for the Church boards.

Thanks Guys - I will definately being using leadcore on the boards.
It looks like the pro pack comes with the flags - so I'm assuming that is the first choice?

So I have some budget left for 2007, that I need to spend as the Warden doesn't believe in carrying over budgets (damn corporate types)
Application is trout and salmon - which way should I go?
Thanks in advance for the feedback!

Thanks Rick - I'll try that first. Is is OK to put the nav cards in them?
-
I have never used a card reader, so it's all new to me.
Can you use any card reader for the nav cards?
-
Just curious if anyone is using this and how they find it.
Thanks!

I like to run 25-30' behind the ball with 30lb flouro on Lake O.
I doubt the flouro adds much advantage over mono out there - but it makes me happy to run it.
For what it's worth, I double the flouro off the leadcore.
