  1. Have always wanted to do this one, but I have no boat. Anyone looking to help with gas and expenses let me know. Doug
  2. Hi all, Has anyone ever used lead core to tie a worm harness? Thanks for your input. Doug
  3. Fishing with my Dad is one of my most fonds moments. We fished Shinging Tree last year and loved the area. We are going back the last week of Sept. The cabins are great and they have cable TV. Prices are the best and include your bait, boats, motors and all your gas. Bay Wolf Camp, Allen and Wendy are the nicest people. Its a drive to and all on good roads. Doug
  4. That was my Christmas present this year. My daughter got mine from Cableas and it is the AC/DC unit. I have yet to use it but saw one of my friends use it on a fishing trip and it worked great. I have always used a electric knife for removing the skin. Mine is the Rapala. Doug
  5. I have always bought a license, actually 2 as I fish Ontario and Quebec. But this Outdoor card is something new I need to have before I get the non resident fishing license. I was told its $9 and good for 3 years. Doug
  6. I have heard that for 2009 non-resident need to purchase a permit to buy a fishing. Also is a passport now required going to and from Canada? Any info is appreciated. Doug
  7. You can have a tough if its older, be it buck or doe. If it is tough slow cook in crock pot. As far as burger or sausage goes, I have never had tough grind. The game taste goes from the bone and fat of the deer. I grind all venison with pork butts, for burger I add a third pork to the venison. For sausage I go 50/50. Pork butts this year were 99 cents a pound. I do process deer and thats the way I suggest doing it for my customers
  8. Hi Terry, A bad day of fishing is better then a good day at work. I have always enjoyed the whole trip, catching lots of fish is a bonus. We leave Sept 20th, I will let you know how we did. Planning on using light jigs and red and white lures. TY Doug
