I voted for restoule. I discovered the park last year and loved it. I have already booked a site this Summer Aug 7-16 - one of the sites along the water. Trails are good, park was not overcrowded, saw some deer and fishing was decent - had a large musky come up and rip off a walleye i had over the side of the boat for lunch. You mentioned access to a small tinnie, my neighbor at the park last summer had one and took it out on the river. He and his son did quite well with the bass. If anyone is up there this summer the same week I'm there, stop by and say hello - I'm driving a black Jeep Grand Cherokee and the boat is an older 16' Cadorette bowrider w/ a 90 hp Evinrude. In the end it doesn't matter where you go as long as you go and get the kids out - depending on their age, they will not be too concerned with the amenities of the park -sometimes as adults, we over analyse these things - I know my kids didn't care too much of what a park had to offer - they were just happy being outdoors, swimming, fishing and playing where ever. looks like i have the same unit - no screw head to look for, the entire "hot" or "cold" water handle screws on and off the base. Just unscrew the the smaller angled part of the handle as you did in your pic and then unscrew the entire unit off the base - sorry for the lack of proper terminolgy but a plumber I'm not! Cheers!

There is a 'waiver' (US term not used in Canada) that can be applied for, it is called a Temporary Resident Permit (TRP) that will overcome the DUI inadmissibility. Your buddy should apply at a Canadian Consulate prior to visiting this way he knows if he can get in or not. If he applies at the border, it will be the Officer's discretion to grant the TRP. Yes, the border does have access to US and Canadian criminal records at their fingertips. For the future, after five years he can apply for Rehabilitation. He applies once and if granted, it will overcome the DUI inadmissibility for any subsequent trips to Canada. After 10 years, if this is his only conviction, he will be deemed rehabilitated and the DUI will not bar his admission to Canada. Hope this helps....Rebe
