Hey guys was wondering if anyone knew how the ice was forming up hoping to head out from windermere shortly after new years if possible

Thats great to hear suds ive been fishing simcoe like crazy while i wait for the freeze up north and ill tell you the fishing on simcoe this year is hot some masive lakeers coming through the ice still not the same as the peace and tranquility of the northern lakes cant wait keep us posted suds

Hey johny got out on portage bay today 6inches of ice all over no fish though never even marked one was nice to be out temp was minus 22 when we arived at lake should help the ice to form .

hey guys just wondering if anyone has been fishing the haliburton lakes for splake yet and how the action and ice conditions were i prefer to run my sled up there whenever pos as the lakes are large and i like to move around in search of fish any info would be appreciated

Thanks for the update suds was hoping to hit windermere on saturday morning to try for a laker there were only four inches on her last year off the dock t6hat was on the 2nd of january fingers crossed for d day thanks again suds look forward to hearing back from you the wee scot

Does anyone know how the ice is forming in the muskoka region i hear little lake in barrie is frozen over there are normaly a few guys fishing it by christmas

Was out last weekend off wasaga beach bud marking bait and fish steady was a slow bite though only got the hooks into one and had a tackle malfunction so never landed it .with the weather the way it has been its hard to say if it will pick up but its been dead slow thus far tight lines wee scot
