  1. yah was lucky it didn't burst, the guy in the bed across from me had his burst, they are cleaning out his wounds hourly. The infection was pretty bad though so i gotta stay on the iv antibiotics for a while i think. i am hoping to get some solid food. I would kill for a nicely breaded fried in butter walleye fillet right about now. I think it takes a few months before ou fully regain your ab strength. Even thought they ony did they puncture three holes thing my abs are pretty sore.

What hospital and rm# I will swing by with a burger and fries for ya

    :thumbsup_anim: get well

  2. Well the fishing wasn't so good on Simcoe today,so I dediced to head in,got about 1-1.5 miles from Willow and got caught in the slush, made it through a few spots on the way in,but the last one got me,got my shovel out and started digging, and 2guys and a gal, seen me in there and came over to help, the big Poaris hooked his winch cable on and pulled me out easily,I sure appreciated the help or I would still be there probably.I didn t get thier names but, again,if they are on here,Thank you very much again.

Yesterday I helped dig a lad out that was stuck in it,so,what goes around comes around.

  3. OH I am with you..

my 2 step daughters and their hubbies go twice a year????? I just shake my head , especially when they talk about their 40 and 50 year mortgage.. :wallbash: Nothing like spending 350k on a house you owe 150k for in 15 years, let alone 40-50 years

I can see you spending 2k or 4k a year if you have paid off your house and maybe already own a cottage? I'd rather pay down the mortgage or if it was paid I would rather my own property to relax on the beach.

At the very least the money would still be there in 20 years in equity.

Last , many places I'd rather see and do here in CANADA , never seen the mountains in bc the west or east coast, let alone the northern lights in north west territories the list goes on and on..

  4. Thanks for the replies, guys. I'm using an HDMI cable, instead of the green, blue, red connects. I've tried it both ways and there is no difference( that I could tell ), so I went with the HDMI cable.

And sorry Buster, but what's an A/V receiver? You mean the HD box?

all my components run through my Yamaha audio/video receiver for 9.1 surround

  5. I just got a new big screen and have set it up with a Motorola HD receiver from Cogeco. Now, I understand WFN isn't available in HD here so I'm watching it on the regular signal which I know is inferior to an HD signal. BUT the picture quality on WFN isn't as good as other non-HD channels. In particular, when it goes to the commercials, they're grainy and snowy.

Just wanted to know if anyone else was experiencing a similar problem.

are you using an A/V receiver?
