  1. Great report and photos. we are headed to Lady E. this weekend July 1. Staying @ Red Pine Wilderness Lodge--housekeeping. Is that near your spot? I hope we have a luck(skill?) like you'all had. Getting psyched! Any body stay there willing to share thoughts/suggestions? Is worm and jig good enough and what is likely depth to explore?
  2. Hi all. great site. headed to sourthen end of lake temagami for a week at the end of june. we hope to chase smallies during the day and "pickeral" at dusk. Anybody have technique or general area suggestions for that time/place? planning to stay @ Tamar lodge. do people slip bob or troll for the pickeral? worm harnesses or will they bite jigheads with worm or plastic grubs? thanks for your input.
  3. we were @ kipawa last year and really enjoyed it but the group wanted to try something differant so looks like we are headed to the southeast arm of temagami for 2015 (july). we are not too good @ walleye and are doing that secondary to chasing smallies during the daytime. have you tried that area? looks to be beautiful.
  4. ok thanks for the input. now leaning towards temagami area.
  5. we're planning our july 2015 ontario trip. our group of 7 primarily wants to c & r smallmouth during the day and pick for walleye @ dusk. we are thinking of lady evelyn for housekeeping lodge. can anyone chime in if the smallies are abundant enough to keep us busy? any part of l.e. better for smallies so we know which lodge? last year we went to kipawa which was ok for that combo--but we wanna try something new. year before that was whalesback channel. also nice. any input would be appreciated.

  8. thanks for that.yes I have searched the topic. I noticed all the trips discussed were either in early spring or September. I got a little nervous that we weren't going the right time of year. the idea of a guide makes good sense.
