With a couple of logs burning and your bevvie of choice, many an enjoyable evening will be spent there. A light directly over the table adds to the ambiance. Just saying.

Stabil. I use it from Labour Day weekend on. Seafoam is more of a cleaner than a stabilizer.

Good to hear he's OK.

RIP Kevin. My condolences to his family and friends.

I store mine outside under a tarp up at the cottage. I built a frame out of scrap lumber that is tall enough to not let snow build up on it. As for critters, I have never really given them a thought. I think this winter I will go the Irish Spring route.

The police have been handcuffed. Street checks kept the criminals on their toes. Now they carry all the time.

The problem we face is with illegally acquired handguns. Unless every single vehicle that crosses the border gets taken apart, it will be very difficult to stem the flow of pistols coming over the border. I was in a Cabela's in Buffalo a couple months ago, there were literally hundreds of handguns in a display. Here in Canada, there are few places where you will see long guns on display, never mind handguns. Making legally acquired guns harder to get is not the answer. I am not sure what the answer is.

The joys of boat ownership. So far so good this year. Last year was expensive, bellows, Gimbel bearing and a water pump. I also need new deep cycles for the Tm which I rarely use.

Not a bad haul of 'eyes..... Those jigs look pretty cool.

Buggers took a couple of chunks out of me on Sunday while cutting the grass up at the cottage. Couple more weeks to bass season in Muskoka.....

Buddy heater. 2 deep cycles for light and DEFINITELY a CO detector. Crack a couple windows and you'll be fine in there.

I use whatever premium mono I get on special for my spinning reels. 6lb for jigging and 8lb for general purpose. I just change out yearly in the late spring. My 2 pike rigs have 30lb braid on them as they are heavier action rods and I have seen some big fish come out of our honey hole.

Good stuff!! Never did get a chance to go this past summer. This summer however....

Cutie!!!

Just get it repaired properly. Spend the 30 bucks. It's piece of mind. Doing it half arsed will end up stressing you while pulling it around because you will begin thinking about the bloody tire. Slime is meant to be a temporary fix. It is not meant to last for a couple of years.

Also, don't store near any electric motors that are running. It wreaks havoc with the rubber.
-
We are kicking around the idea of putting in a propane wood looking stove in the basement up at the cottage. Anything beats baseboards these days.....

Witch Bay Camp or Smith's Camps.

Is your boat ready for Winter?

Mine is away for the year. Every mechanic that has ever gone near my lower unit has always cheaped out and gone with either Dino or semi synthetic. I always use synthetic. Canadian Tire being the best source. You don't want water in those lowers boys. The condition of the gear oil speaks volumes about the condition of your lower unit.
