I am sadden to hear of your friend/mentor's passing. I enjoyed reading about your fishing and the excitement of your friends. I also enjoyed reading about your quiet moments on the water reflecting. I have always found it therapeutic being on the water, I hope you have all the opportunities you need, perhaps with the guys from this past weekend. Thanks for taking the time to write this up and to share it.

Great update Dan, good to know Brandon is safely on his way. The pictures you took are amazing and as another mentioned, most of us would have missed those shots....great idea.

I had the kids out in the boat on Friday and figured I'd get some fishing done on Sunday out on GBay, NOPE!! Jeez, at the rate I'm going, I won't wash 1 musky lure this year......

Still plenty of time this year, I am sure you will be posting a beauty before the season is done

Wasn't able to co-ordinate so I decided to make use of my kitchen instead....home made vegetable beef, cream of broccoli, and cream of potato soups and a beef and cabbage dish.
