Made it out on friday for a last go at some crappie fishing on the Ottawa river system.What a great day with good company for the afternoon Trent showed up till dark with me!Managed to take home a few for the table and let lots go for another day.The ice is still very thick but caution is to be had made to shore.Looking forward to some open water fishing soon

Was happy to have finally met CRUSTY aka(Brian) to fish for some crappies for the day.We managed some nice keepers for the table and lots were set freeeee!It was a nice day yesterday out on the ice but now as I look out side it is realy bad stuff.....! The berkley honney grubs worked well for Brian Hope to get back out there for some pike action next time. Till then" Twister aka (Pauly)

Fished last weekend by Desoronto and managed some fish with biggest at 11lbs/31" male!It was a great thrill and look forward in repeating it again sooooon!The end of the month is comming quick so get out there........Twister

Had a great time as every year over a Robbies with our Ice guyz crew!The fishing was hard at times with very lite bites trough out the day,but managed some nice eye's between us.The nights were on the freak'in cold side.......burrrrrr!The ice is about 10" when we arrived.Here are some picks of our group and look forward in some fishing back in Ottawa. I have had a few friend wishing that I would have kept those Lings we caught?I must get over there looks and try them one day..............maybe!

Had a great time fishing for the 4 days on Callender since sunday of last week.It was I.G.Donny's birthday trip and we managed to access the ice on sunday afternoon by foot and managed some during the evening with 4"in ice the spare.Robbie was hard at it flooding the top of the ice in his area and making some good ice!By the end of thursday he had most of his huts all hooked up.The fishing was on the slow side but managed some nice eye's,pike ,herring and even 3 ling's to boot!The temp on tuesday was deadly all day with it being -23 all day long.....used the flip over shelters and heaters"Thanks Donny!!! By the end there was 5-6"in the bay area and made it nice to access the ice with the sled's. Will be back on the 25th till 28th for the anual Ice Guy Adventure Trip yahoooo!
