Ok--life used to be a whole lot easier when all's I had to do was go to the store and buy a canvas---then paint Soooo...Get this bright idea to offer something different in the cedar sandblasted sign biz---now most providers usually can offer your typical loon....muskoka chair....lighthouse...etc......generic type stuff So BraveBrush here says---hey I can paint whatever ya want---just to offer something different...well then someone takes ya up on it So a nice lady asked for.......Rolling hills....stone fence.......man walking behind plow.....chestnut/brown draught horse complete with harness and red collar....log barn complete with side door... the lettering/horse and barn blasted nice---it did kinda turn out cool---but was a little more involved than say...a canoe Of course I blurred their last name for here So it was pretty much a painting---so ...here's a new work

And The Walleye won I've caught lots of both in my days-----but bass are used a lot in outdoor signage Annd I just happen ta know the painter So I went from this (soon to become a something?) To This.....One step closer and the painter gets it ---oh yeah---got that "eyeball from a taxidermist I know"

Well if you've ever asked yourself...Hey!!...I wonder what goes into making a Cedar Sandblasted sign or image? Anyway if your bored or just curious, or just need something else ta click on.....I've started a Work in Progress...or a "How To" section on the "Ced-Art" website...it's a sub heading under "Past works" I had a couple requests (A Moose and a welcome sign with red canoe)---so I've got them to painting stage....I'll update these as completed Me???....Too dang cold to do anything outside today...so I'ze off ta paint These are what the turn out like after completion PS: oh yeah...link is a banner a top of page

"Re-InCarnation" ......I always thought that condensed milk from dead cows Hello all Finally back on track here again Been some changes in the ole painter's life We spent the better part of last year selling our house----we did... and now live in da bush ...Agin Much rather listen to the wolves and coyotes sing than lots of neighbors With the house thing---didn't log too much fishin time last year.......so I may be re-tellin stories for a bit Also...the wife and I got this idea---where we take my painting experience and apply it on Sandblasted Western Red Cedar It's turning out rather cool.....If you see an ad pop up at the top called "Ced_Art"...that's us We figured that a lot of places doing this work use computer generated images----so we put a spin on it Everyone we do is an original work-----the wood really makes it neat Anyway folks good to be back and settled again PS: There may be a slightly used Sens Jersey comin up for sale in the Classifieds....just have to try and remove the tear stains
