I've been reading, don't know how credible the sources are... but I've heard that the Snakehead has made its way to Ontario... Anyone know about this? If they have, anyone know what lakes to find them in? I'd like to take part in trying to control their population.

What is your secret? I've been struggling for the past 3 weeks. The first week was easy not to smoke due to bronchitis... but since that cleared up it's been a challenge.

Still no companies feel safe enough to put out huts. All I want to do this winter is ice fish and snowboard. Is that so much to ask?

Well there was like.. 5-6 inches of solid ice on Sunday. If you have an auger and a rod... and don't mind bearing the elements, then you're good to go.

Right on, thanks guys. That one he mentioned dealing with Country rd 46 and 48... would that be on Macintye rd or paradise rd? The map seems to say 2 names for the same street...

There is one on Centennial Dr or Road between Hwy 48 and Simcoe rd 46.Not sure what the ice conditions are in the area though.

I was wondering if anyone knew where the boat launch(es) is on Canal Lake. Another quick question, anyone ever gone ice fishing on Canal Lake? I am aware that there is a strong currant, probably makes the ice a bit sketchier.

Oh man, I just got in from Scugog... it was one cold bugger out there... and no luck either. Have to try again a little earlier and maybe a new spot.

Has anyone fished Wagner lake near simcoe? anything there?
