  1. Good evening

I know it's a long shot but I figured I would ask here first...

In November we will have a Saturday to kill in Miami.

Just wondered if anyone has any info, or any help about the area..

I'm assuming we will stay close to the airport .

Anyone know of a guide or company.

We will have zero fishing equipment.

Thinking peacock bass would be fun to catch.

It will be my 13 year old son and I on the trip. Rather keep the group small then run a big boat with lots of others.

Any help is great, especially  the "what not to do"...

    Thanks

I have 2019 F 150 crew cab with the 2.7 litre V6, short box. I don’t tow w it often but use it a lot for fishing, atving (atv in box) and so far it’s been a great truck

Decent on fuel (average 12.7 l per 100 KM)

With my 18 tundra I'm between 13.8 and 15.8 normal driving. Jumps when towing but I definitely expect that...

I really expected the 2.7 to be much better.

End of the day I found the tundra was cheaper then the comparable chev. (back in 18)

The way the tundra holds its value is insane. Wish I upgraded to the leather seats but back then I did not want to spend the extra...

Good luck on your search for used.....

I agree with "word of mouth"

Hope someone you know decides to trade in/up and you can get a good used truck.

Best if luck with your search.

  3. That's too bad we went as well, yea not what it was 15 years ago but then again 15 years ago seemed more like a flea market then a sportsman show.

I thought it was nice seeing the hunting stuff at a sportsman show. We definitely did stop and talk to a couple independent guys trying to make a name for themselves.

I always enjoy watching some of the dog shows and the show had some good speakers.

All in all a win for my wife and 12 year old son, guess it always depends what your looking for.  I've never been to the Fishing/boat show but I would imagine that's more Fishing related then the sportsman show is.

Was definitely nice getting out.  I'm sure the show will keep rebuilding  not even sure if it was on last year.

  4. I run a 91 Sea Nymph 19.5 on Lake Huron and G bay..

No issues running lots of rods and still having the room to move around with three guys. Nice and deep with a full windshield.

starcraft/princecraft/lund/seanymph would all be on the top of my list.

In another month or two you should see some up for sale. When you seen one that is priced reasonable you need to move on it quick..

    Good luck with the search
