i just got a bass pro rod its a 2pc musky series that comes with a counter wieght it was only 130 i also have a 2pc compre and a st croix legend series and they are all good but the bass pro give you best bang for your buck at a reasonable price

My buddy is selling his 1989 malibu bass boat and is willing to give me a deal just wondering if anyone has fished out of one and if its worth 4000 with a new trailer, trolling motor, fish finder, and battries. It has a 70hp merc. the only info i have gotten is that malibu makes a good wake board boat. lol

i have a trailer on that lake and there is alot of big smallmouth and average sized walleye and we pulled a 47 inch muskie out last year my favorite spot is on the north shore were there is a large drop off that is visible by eye. i also have luck fishing swimming docks were the smallies seem to school in packs of 5 to 6 fish. This lake has been called dead by lots off people buts thats casue yoou need a boat and some skills. I have not been skunked in about three years on this lake. Tube jigs work the best use natural crayfish looking colours for bass, worm harnesses for walleye and large spinners for muskie at dusk. another easy way to find fish is to looks for weed patches its easy to do the water is clear and the large dark patches are weeds good luck and study the ledges and the fish will be easy to find.

there is another hole over were the river opens up there is a building with a red or orange roof there is always music going on there in the summer there is a good hole about 100 feet off shore that alot of people fish at so on weekends just walk over and see were they are fishing its a hot little hole and i was using a small jigging spoon with a emerald shiner (small) to tip it.

my uncle lives up in the 100 area of houses i fished out there you can walk out from that park thats up there i fished in about 5-8 fow and there is a ton of perch up that way only problem is i ran out of light and they would not bite my bait . i fished like right in the middle of that sled trail thats were i found em if your lucky you will find my holes

i fished ou behind my uncles place off kenedon he is up at the bend i think his number is 100 something there is a little park there you can walk out from i drilled about three holes and fished each about 30 min first and second hole nothing third had about 50 perch at the bottom that would not bite the water was shallow but there was alot to be caught there. getting them to bite is another story. thats were i would try if i was you i wont be able to get back there till next week

during the summer me and the boys like to sit back drink beer and fish carp we dont keep them just like the fight just wondering if it is possible to ice fish for this thing is so i might have to try it they put up a good fight lol and i went ice fishing on pigeon lake off of kenedon drive today looking for panfish and did not get any but i found a massive swarm of perch that just would not bite had to be at least 50 at the bottom of the hole hopefully once this storm hits that will boost there hunger let me no how kawartha ice fishing is going for everyone else becasue im yet to catch any numbers.

Tried fishing some place new down hogsback road about a min from my house no luck at all in fact a have not caught a fish any were on that lake this winter going to pigeon lake by kenedon drive tommorow

i have only been able to ride water and ice in omemee this storm will be great

guess old enitcers are not good on water my zl 700 does water like a champ

the weather network is forcasting a large snow storm on wed this will ad to the inch of snow at my house

I am a firefighter in omemee asking people to watch were you are going please. last night about 130 am i got a call for two people that went through the ice by the train bridge in omemee. this is a river that is open and the people thought that it was froven, yamaha enticers do not skip water very well and there trip to omemee got really cold. So just no your water and ride your sleds safe The people were sent to hospital for precautions but will be fine other then the recovery bill the police gave him (beats a DUI i guess lol)

i live in omemee and im going out in that area on monday the channel is fairly easy to find its almost dead center of the river i havent fished there yet but im haveing no luck in behind the dam in omemee so time to try down there ill let you no what happens
