    Best tires and longest lasting...

Also when buying tires I get mine at Costco, you get lifetime rotation AND BALANCING, free flat repair and they fill the tires with nitrogen...

that to me is worth the added cost...

also stock size tires on your jimmy are 235-70-15, but the standard tire size is 235-75-15 that'll add 3km/hr at 100kph...

  2. 5 or 10 color leadcore

    blue silver riplin redfin

tip with 1" piece of worm

set it out on a planner board

set your drag loose and clicker on...

set to 1 click ever 5 or 6 seconds,

if you hear 2 or 3 clicks in 5 or 6 seconds, fish on

that is my go to erie rig, I don't bring anything else...

  3. this is the way i saw it...

from a financial point of view...

Driving Time(from my place): Marineland 30min drive Wonderland 1hr drive (without traffic - not likely)

    Edge: Marineland

Parking costs: MArineland free, Wonderland $10 (i think, haven't been in a few years) or $35 for a season parking pass

    Edge: Marineland

Ticket Costs: Marineland $47 (season pass) Wonderland $86 (season pass)

    Edge: Marineland

Food Cost: Marineland - Bring your own and eat in park Wonderland - Get ripped off, or walk back to your car for food/drinks

    Edge: Marineland

Funfactor: Marineland - not bad Wonderland - Awesome

    Edge: Wonderland

For me atleast Marineland is an obvious choice... Wife doesn't like rides anyways, and i'm not much for shows... but don't mind watching the animals...

plus hit the casino on the way home also....

I'll go with Marineland over wonderland...

  4. probably late but...

coolers are not a problem... tons of people bring them and they have picnic areas/picnic tables all around

    keeps your cost down...

don't know of any discounts, but for an extra $5 you get a season pass which is good for the whole season...

  5. Playing sports is a luxury... Not a right or necessity...

I lost my job with a 2 week old baby at home... Nobody is giving me toonies or loonies to buy diapers and formula for him... So why the heck should I donate to unessasary sports...

The big problem is parent that are in denial about their kids skills... They all think their son is the next Crosby... They probably aren't... Put your kids in house league... They learn about teamwork... You don't travel... They get exercise... And have fun... And it's a fraction if the cost... What some people spend on their kids athletics in their lifetime would be a retirement fund for some people...

Makes me sick to think the kid got to play aaa hockey for 10 years but as for university... Well sorry son... We spent all our money on hockey ...

    Well said...

If you can't pay, you can't play...

same way we all don't drive brand new lunds or rangers...

can't afford it, so we dont have it...

  6. Lowrance transducers not much better...

how many issues with moisture in the HDS sonars?

as for it being an inferior product? it's personal preference...

never had any issues with my HB transducers...

Are you running the sonar and the VHF off the same battery? another reason for static...

I also notice when my gauges are off my compass on the dash reads out of whack, shut the key off and it goes right...

    What sonar unit Dave?
