Looking for suggestions for a good place to go fishing around September 14, 2007 for a four day trip. I live in the Sarnia area and like pickeral, bass, and pike fishing. Was thinking around Parry Sound Area.

Hello All, I heard that the pickeral fishing around Port Stanley is supposed to be hot between June 11, and June 15, 2007. Can anyone confirm this and also what lures work the best and what location (Private message me)? I generally use worm harnesses. Thanks again for everyone's help, this website rocks! Bing

Last year I was in the McKellar, Ontario area and bought a polish something pike lure, I couldn't believe I how big this lure was and how much it looked like a real pike and I caught pike about the same size as the lure. Can't wait to try it out again this year. Bing

I bought a new eagle fishfinder/gps last year and when I try to rename or edit a waypoint the unit keeps going back to the map screen before I can finish editing the waypoint name. Do I have to have the memory card in the unit to do this? Or is there something I am doing wrong obviously? Thanks again for your help. Bing

Just wanted to say that I appreciate all the information and advice this board has to offer, it rocks. I purchased a 18 foot starcraft futura last summer, it weighs about 2000 pounds with the motor. Just wondering what size of kicker motor I should go with and how would you mount it so that it can be steered by the steering wheel/115 mercury opti-max. Would you pay someone to professionaly install the steering arm? Thanks for your help again, Bing

I've been fishing the last week of June at Minekwa Lodge in Gogama, with 12 guys and we always catch are limit of pickeral halfway through the week. We also had a lot of bass action, I expect to keep going back for several years. They have lots of dock room as well.

I bought a boat over at Metro Boat Sales and they delivered it to me in Sombra, I met them at the fairy and it saved me from paying the michigan sales tax on it. It was a heck of lot cheaper than on in Ontario I priced it around and it was over $10,000 differance for the boat and motor. It's a brand new 2004 Starcraft Futura and a 2006 Mercury OptiMax 115 h p with full warranty.
