So my buddy and i that just started drift fishing last fall got out for the second time this spring on thursday morning. we started off slow working our way up the creek, about an hour into it i pulled in my first fish of the morning having yet to land a fish drifting i set him up in the exact spot i just got that one. not 3 casts later he hooks into and lands his first, Congrats bud! feeling generous i leave him to the spot and move up stream further. when i hook into this a few minutes later, guess kharma swung my way this time that was pretty much it for the rest of the morning, had a small brown break my line because i neglected to retie after a snag. i won't make that mistake again... not a huge amount of fish but big excitment for us noobs, can't wait to get back on the water AA.

hey i all, i just started posting here and would like to upload a few pics from fishing today. i was wondering how to reduce the size of my jpeg picture files to fit withing the 250kb max upload size? they are presently around 330-400kb each. any tips/links to programs to take care of it would be greatly appreciated. thanks, AA.

Some of those are quite the beasts. Nice work!!! I think it will be a long time before i get bored of of the steelies. Definately go for a boat though, its very nice just chilling and reeling in a monster every now and again on a gorgeous summer afternoon.

Hey everyone, i just got into float fishing in the fall and have been trolling these boards since. I have gotten lots of good info and advice from reading all your posts, this is a great community. I live out in Pickering but have fished all over last fall and hadn't landed anything in about 12 trips. I had one on at the whirlpool but it snapped my line 20sec after hooking him. I went out to a local creek on monday and finally landed my first bow! I had another one on shortly after that but he got off. i did take a picture but it turned out quite poor on my 6yr old phone (mainly because i haven't used it in such bright sunlight and didn't adjust any settings). I am going out again thursday morning and can hopefully get another with a decent camera on hand I just want to thank everyone for keeping up such a friendly atmosphere here and hopefully i will be sharing lots in the next few months.
