Believe it or not I pulled this monster out of Lake Aquatain in Mississauga this morning @ around 11 am. I thought there were only shopping carts, bicycles, and catfish in there.
I went to crappy tire yesterday looking for tires. I told the manager what I was doing and he said it was illegal to put passenger car tires on a trailer. I dont know whether to believe him or not. He also said when importing a trailer from another country (ie. US) trailer only tires must be installed to pass inspection. If I get a chance today I will contact MTO to verify.
Does anyone know what tires I can replace the F78-14's with on my trailer? I'm not sure if I'm allowed to put passenger car radials on there or not. Also if I can use radials, I dont know the load range I would need. The trailer is a 1984 Magic single axle and the boat is a 19.5 ft bayliner bowrider with a 125hp engine. Im not sure of the weight. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Dave
Thanks for your help guys. Makes a lot of sense what you say. I'll go to BPS and see what thy recommend for an allaround general set up. I see so many different lengths and weights and I'm not sure what each one is for. The reel(Citica E) only comes in left or right retrieve with no other options so I figured I couldnt screw that up.
Hi all. New to the forums and like what I see. I'm planning to buy a my first baitcast rod/reel. Not sure exactly what to buy. From what I've read here the Shimano Citica E reel gets a good name and is in my price range. Not too sure what to buy for a rod though (lenght/weight). I fish for pretty much anything that bites (bass/pike/trout/walleye). Any recommendations? Would like to keep combo in $200 range. Bass Pro shows the reel for $119.95 hopefully Canadian. Thanks in advance for any help.
