Originally I had my brother in law down for $350, well he went back to the show for more. He is now up to $500 he just had to have a new tackle box and I guess since he was there he had to fill it.

Like everyone else has expressed hope she gets up and around real soon. I drive all around the GTA all day for work and no appoinment is worth the well being of someone else or myself. People need to either leave earlier if it's important or realize 10min is not a big deal.

Just got back from the fishing show. It was nice to look at all the boats and just be around fishing on a cold day like today.

I was actually good and got out not spending any money and picked up a free hat. But my brother in law did not have the same self control! $350 later he walked out with two reels and rod.

My 2 year old girl picked out this storm lure for me while she was running around walmart and I caught my first walleye with it on Rice.

I had one for about 2 years, then changed back to a cell phone due to a change in jobs.

They are great for work during business hours but a word of advice

if you are not required to be on call at your job 24/7 turn it off at dinner time and the evening or it will take away from the family and you won't even realize it.

But on the upside it does allow you to get out on the water earlier on Fridays and long weekends in the summer.

I went for the first time myself the other day,

I took my 4yr old girl and she had a great time, everyone is therer is very friendly and nice. You might even want to bring a bucket or chair for your kid to sit on. I found it kept my girl in one spot and didn't have to worry to much about her getting excited and running around or leaning over to much. Have great time let us know how it goes. We caught about 30 or 40 perch, she actually caught the biggest one.

Quickly I like you went through this a month ago, never had a ticket, I received one in a pretty good radar trap in Toronto (you would not believe how many cars were pulled over and being pulled over) the cop told me to go to court and fight it and they would probably knock the points off.

1) Go to the address on the ticket and request a first meeting with the prosecutor, she will listen to your story, bring something from the daycare and doctor about where you were going.

2) the prosecutor will then make a reccomendation, they will either do nothing for you or will knock down the speed you will travelling to no points and just a fine or something like that)

3) then it is up to you to either take what they offer or you can then request a trial in front of the Judge. You will then have to go back at a later date to go in front of the judge and the cop if he shows.

Go the first meeting route first you have nothing to lose, they normally won't throw the ticket out but will reduce it to something you can live with.

Note - losing points is important but now your insurance can go up for just getting a ticket. I had a perfect record and that ticket cost me $300 dollars for just getting a ticket which after all was said and done go knocked down to doing 10 over an no points but because I did get a ticket I no longer qualify for the best rate. I hate the whole insurance industry no tickets or accidents in 17 years of driving and I no longer qualify because I got one ticket? But that's a rant for another day.
