Hi Guys This lake is on our short list of places to go for the long weekend in May - just wondering if anyone has ever fished the lake - and would you recommend it? Any tips on lures ect. would be helpful. I believe it is near Temagami - so I am sure the fishing is good. Thanks Smitty

Hey Guys I received a Lowrance H20 for Christmas - along with the MAPCREATE Canada Topo 6.3 SOFTWARE - I loaded the software on my computer and created a few maps of my area - I have been saving waypoints like the house and stuff on it - now I am trying to get the waypoints from my GPS to my computer. I have read both manuals for the GPS and the software and I have followed the steps - but I still can't seem to get it to show the waypoints on my computer - I have saved the map to the memory card and I try to load it to the computer - but the card does not seem to show anything on it. Any ideas or tips on how to do this? thanks Smitty

Sorry guys - nice first post eh...I was a member on the old board - I fish in the Ottawa area..mostly walleye and pike - throw in the odd bass trip. I read the board a lot - don't post much because of the new young lad - fishing seems to take a back seat - can't wait until he is old enough to hold a fishing rod. Smitty

Hi Guys Just wondering if anyone has ever heard about this "Free-to-Air" satellite receiver? I have heard of some people buying these receivers and with there regular Bell dish and receiving free satellite signals - they get over 700 channels free. Is this illegal? Someone told me they are getting the signals before they actually reach the satellite - therefore it is not stealing from Bell? Any info on this would be appreciated - I have heard of those people with the old receivers from Bell - getting a programmed card - but that would be stealing. Thanks Smitty
