I’ve got a glow that lasts for hours!!!!   Supost to be 12 hours but keeps a good charge for afew hours.    I generally made them for myself and afew others.   Don’t like the new ones.    Don’t want to pay 25$ each.   Don’t like j plugs.   Lol.  And not a fan of the moonshine ones, but I fish g bay almost exclusively during the open water.  

Didn’t make many this year, I’m tweaking the baits again so I can have a solid one piece wire replacing the screw eyes.  And possibly a rattle

Blew my back out afew weeks ago so haven’t been on the ice and had to put my 13 yr old lab down on Friday.    So this put quite the smile on my face this morning.   Turns out the guys were fishing off Johnson beach this morning and I’m literally 2 min away so I made sure to get them a proper shirt! 

Had a customer send this to me earlier today.   Take down and delete if not allowed but I thought it was hilarious!   

Went back to one of my favourite splake lakes yesterday.    Always nice to take a break from simcoe and do some relaxing fishing with no one else but buddies around!    Been a fantastic season so far catching some good numbers of some really quality fish!  First few pics were yesterday and rest are from January this year!    Just love how much fun the kids have had on some of these day trips!   

Was zero fight really.   Didn’t think it was a big fish at all.   

It it was a stocked fish from 2004!   Is what we figured!    

Got this one afew weeks ago.   Measured in at  31.1/4” long and weighed in at 9.8 lbs bled out the day after.   Going to be my first whitefish on the wall.    Have caught them bigger years ago but haven’t got one close to this in quite some time!  You can probably guess what it was caught on lol.   Goby color!

I do quite abit of everything from blades to musky baits.   If I cant do it I know another couple that can!

Nope.. the I'll take the guys on any simcoe weekend. The sound is easily 10x worse than the busiest day on simcoe.

wow great fish and a great story...only negative is the amount of comapny out there. Sometimes I run lines 450 feet back, wouldnt trust it with that many out there

I know a fellow that every year he tries to run a leadcore rod... every year within 2 hours of putting it out it gets run over! It's a zoo on weekends always watching others.

Nice springs, whitecaps out of the NE when I took the garbage out this morning though.

All good.. I'll be fishing alot closer to home next time I get out... that 2 hour drive sucks! Doubt I'll be back this year.

Haven't been out alot this year for my usual standards but I've made it out on the open water 4 times over the last 3 weeks. By far my favorite fishing of the year! No ice required for the cooler and the best eating fish going in my mind.. took my youngest boy out and man is he now hooked! I swear.. every night he asks if we can go fishing tomorrow! Love it! Reminds me of myself when I was his age! Here's afew pictures from the past few trips!

I might be able to help out a bit. Waiting on another order of jerkbait blanks but they would be ready well before your trip. And my new molds for the jigs should be ready for testing aswell by then.
