A coworker took me out on his boat to fish for walleye/crappie @ Rice Lake this morning.

while struggling to get hookups, I noticed couple boats were fishing heavy weeds with largemouth-specific equipments. Even though all bass they caught were immediately released by the boatside, I figure it would be against the regulation?

I mean, there is a difference between catching off-season fish when your setup is for other species & targeting off-season fish with immediate releases?

Residents returning to Canada:

After 24 hr absence...C$50

--No Tobacco and Liquor

After 48 hr absence...C$400

Tobacco...200 Cigarettes and 50 Cigars and 200g of loose Tobacco.

Liquor....1.14L of spirits, 1.5L of wine,or 24 bottles or cans of beer.(8.5L)

After 7 days absence...C$750

Tobacco...200 Cigarettes and 50 Cigars and 200g of Tobacco

Liquor....1.14 litres of liquor or 1.5 litres of wine.

What about for visitors to Canada?

In-laws (non-canadian) came over couple weeks ago and plan to go shopping in the states.

However, I have not been able to find any information regarding customs & duty-free allowances for them

bought a set of GE Nighthawk headlamp bulbs $49 from CT 6 months ago to replace my burnt OEM.

even though they were not as bright as what the package said but were much better than OEM.

woke up this morning and noticed one of them was burnt.

should I expect to replace bulbs every 6 months or should this be warrantied under manufacturing defect?

The only floats I have used for the last 20 years are balsa with natural bottoms.

I don't have any issues catching fish.

I was completely shocked when noticing some tackle shops while driving by.

 

I am going back again next week and am wondering fishing related information
