Hey all! Name is Andrew. I live around Bancroft. Just getting into fishing. I want to say it's after a long hiatus, but i've been out more in the past 2 months (8-9 times) than when I was younger, so ... shrug Figured i'd be social and say hello. Maybe that's just the old fashioned in me lol Figured I could add a bit more ... my initial intention is to be fishing for food as much as for fun. Not interested in trophy monsters, but who knows, maybe that'll change. Don't have a motorboat ... yet. Will see how things go next year through the summer. I do, however, have a SUP and fishing kayaks. So far i've only fished from shore. Still getting used to the idea of actually moving around on a sup or kayak. Maybe if there isn't too much rain this weekend I'll give that a go. So far i've caught pickerel (walleye), lmb, smb and a (thankfully small) pike. Only the pickerel was big enough to keep/eat. Having fun, learning lots, both of which are important to me. Looks like a good place to hang out here in the meantime. Thanks.
