fast approaching, anyone?

I believe someone just came back from there but I cant get a hold of them. I am staying at Gouin 2 cabin. Anyone?

I am there June 14th, Gouin 2 is the cabin. First time going, any tips? Drivign a VOLVO XC70 should I even bother with that last part of the road? How is the weather then, assuming cold at night?

looking for the same answer, coming from toronto. Whats the best route? driving a volvo xc70. can I drive all the way to the lodge? or should I stop at the hunting camp and fly the rest of the way?the volvo has the clearance of an SUV and is AWD.

I have 3 kirklands in my boat. 1 to start the boat, 1 for accessories and 1 for the trolling motor. has been 5 years not. the one that starts teh boat (115 yamaha 4 stroke motor) has never ever been on a charger. the one for the accesories (radio, fishfinders, etc) gets charged like once a month during the fishing season. and the trollign motor (55lb minn kota motor) gets charged as before we go out a again, that battery has always held up all day, we have never been without power to the trolling motor. So, in short. I have nothign but good to say about Kirkland batteries. to me they are god sent, all three batteries were under liek $200 all in.

Doing something like this for the first time. Have been to lake of the woods and stayed on an island lodge but nothing remote like this. What should I bring, what should I expect? How is the fishing up there? There will be 6 of us, two to a boat. Tackle? is ther something I shoudl bring alot of (size of lures, line, etc). Not sure what to expect other than gret fishing! I have read posts that people caught like 2000 fish a week amonst like 6-8 people. others like 20-30 each per day. what should be the expectation? really want to hunt out a trophy pike.
