Like drafting the Windsor GM's kid out of midget in the first round - fair game but against their gentleman's agreement. The Barrie organization is showing themselves as a cheap shot organization from the back office out to the ice. I suspect their silliness is a bit embarrassing for a lot of you fans.

All the kid's drafted are in midget. If Windsor wanted him so bad why didn't they pick him first. What they thought that everyone would let go untill there pick again. He's fair game, maybe not a first rounder but Barrie was the last pick of the first round. My two cent's

Barrie will get on the board fast and furiously.
Put the spits in the whole earlly.which I am confident they will do.
They (Barrie) will have a full healthy line up and a third goalie that could me a number one if need be.4th line can compete against their top no issues there.
It,s going to be a great series. Colts in 5

i bought a boat in august last year and i only paid tax on the trailer when i went to get the plates. they didn't even ask me how much my boat was, just the trailer. I didn't offer them the info either.
and the feds surely didn't ask. so i don't know what the deal is either. good thing cuz that tax i thought i had to pay on the spot got me a nice trolling motor and batteries!
That's exactly what I did. Just payed the tax on the boat trailer. I just finished sending a cheque to the ministry of finance for tax on my boat and motor.

If you can do it for tax savings.Tell them that you bought the trailer for x amount of dollars and the boat was for free. The registration itself is no charge from my recolection.
That's how I got into trouble. I just payed the tax on the trailer, now their looking for the tax on the boat!!!!

Make sure you pay your taxes. I tried to get by with only paying for the trailer. I got a letter from the minister of finance saying that they didn't have any record of me paying tax on my boat that I registered. I have to come up with a receipt within 60 days or they will asess me a bill. Never try an cheat the goverment out of money!!!

Can anyone tell me how much parking is at the Ricco Center. I'm going to a Marlies game on Wednesday, my buddy is the head coach for the San Antonio Rampage. I've never been to the Ricco before so any tips would be appreciated.

Thanks for your work on this topic Roy. I took my 16ft fish hawk to freedom marine north of Barrie. I haven't seen the boat after the kit was put in as I had it stored for the winter. Losing storage space suck's but I didn' buy the boat for it's storage space. Just the fact that Crestliner has come forward to fix the problem say's alot about the company.

I was the same as you Bill. I ended up going to Angling Specialties on Hwy7. The guy there had it out in seconds. I had tried everything. Ended up replacing the bearings for about $90. Hope this helps.

Please keep me up to date on how you make out, and how long it took. Do you have to take it to the dealership where it was bought or will any crestliner dealership look after you.

I use spray nine for everything. Not sure if you have tried this, but it's worth a try. Let me know how you make out getting it off.

Anyone that would desecrate the angelic lines of the best fishing boat that the heavens ever had a hand in designing by festooning it with mechanical abominations to the fine sport of fishing, doesn't deserve to ride in it. Try steel-heading in a ditch somewhere ("tribs" I think they call them).
Good luck!

I just recently purchased a new boat(to me). It's 16 ft crestliner fish hawk. What's the best way to mount downrigging plates. My side gunnels are not very wide. Would it be better to have a board all the way across? If so whats the best way to mount it, and I want it removable. Any info appreciated
Thanks Scooter
Cormorans on Nippissing
in General Discussion
Posted
Just got back from a trip from Lake Nippissing, and seen something that really disturbed me. We were having a few pops on the deck looking onto the lake when we see a bunch cormorans feeding like crazy on fish(wasn't sure what they were). Was kinda peeved at how many on them there were and the amount of fish they were eating. So went out for the evening fish and on are way back we noticed something floating in the water. As we pull up, it turns out to be a dead cormoran with a 14" walleye caught half way down it's throat The walleye fishing on Nippissing has enough problems without these buggers adding to the problem. Something has to be done to these fish eating machines!!!
Thanks I feel better now
