Heading out to Sturgeon tomorrow to try my luck.

Shouldn't be a problem, boat is docked at the marina for the season. Don't have a tow vehicle.

Thinking of heading up to Sturgeon Lake next Monday or Tuesday if the weather is reasonable to try my luck.

Last I looked, Waters Edge cottages still had vacancies that week. Water levels on Sturgeon are quite high so I don't know how that will affect the fishing.

Pretty well the whole lake, went from the Bobcaygeon end, up halfway towards Fenlon Falls, then towards Goose Bay and then back.

Was out on Sturgeon Lake today. Boat is in the water. Put in a second trolling motor battery and went for a quick spin around. Wather temperature is hovering around 49 degrees.

HI, Been lurking on the forum all summer. Got a boat late last summer and been doing a bit of fishing on Sturgeon Lake. Got some pointers from a few folks on another forum who I think are also on this forum. I plan on doing quite a bit of fishing next spring and summer on Sturgeon. I don't have a cottage, I am retired so I do a lot of day trips and rent cottage the odd time.
