Well I was very excited this week when I was able to get the newest issue of Outdoor Canada magazine and see that Handlebarz musky lures was tied for 5th place in there 25 top gear to have for 2014. I knew that we had made the list top 25 gear for 2014 but had no clue it was 5th until this week and to top it off were part of the centerfold I think this is how Pam Anderson got her start LOL.

I again do have to thank all of the OFC family for the help along the way we will always be great full for this place as I have made so many TRUE friends that will be with me for life. This place is more then just a fishing board and that is what makes this so special for me.

Dang and I broke the bank on new rods at the spring fishing show wish I had seen that before I could have loaded up

Years back I did not like Gordon but since his divorce he has been winning me over these were great.

A bit lost on the company or how to find the baits... am I missing something here? Supporting local tackle / tackle shops is a big thing when I can do it.

I was checking out done new ones at my friends booth at the spring fishing show they were cool. Check out anglers choice they are also a Canadian made bait here in Ontario.

Just in time for me to hit the bed well I'm happy I got to watch team Canada win gold but I will miss the end of the 500 I guess I will see who won the race at 4am

That is a great story there are not many of them great men left. I say thank you to all who served.

On Sunday my wife and I made it to the Spring fishing show for Musky Sunday what a great day at the Toronto spring fishing show. It was great to see all our old friends new friends and customers and great to meet new ones I wish we had more time to talk with everyone but the day just flew by.

We totally enjoyed the Musky Sunday seminar that muskies Canada hosted. Big Jim Jim Saric Taro were great and entertaining. Marc Thorpe was tops with the passion and knowledge he holds for musky is just amazing it was a great surprise to see him there I hope we can book him again for more muskies Canada shows. I was lucky enough to catch him during the break to chat and pick his brain on a couple fish that we caught last year lucky I had them on the phone to show the pics he gave me his great opinion on what was going on with them fish. Also his talk on Swim bladder and reviving fish was very informative. My wife Danna and I were both shaking our heads at some of what he had to say as we were seeing some of it first hand with our fish caught and were glad to hear what Marc said on the matter was what we were doing and also have other things to try for the ones that seem to not want to live.

We had donated 200 can koozies for the people that showed up and they went over very well I'm glad that people enjoyed getting a keep sake from the show.

From 1-3 Danna and I were working the muskies Canada booth was great as it gave us time to talk about musky more LOL that was all she needed. Danna should be recruited for membership drive as she sold three at once.

Any way I just want to say we had a blast and thanks to all who made the show awesome.

Is the issue out yet? I have not seen it anywhere on the stands in Chatham or the places we looked on the way to Toronto over the weekend.

I have some uglysticks with blue thread wraps they are alot more sensitive over the orange/yellow wrapped ones. I have the 4'8" they are great I used higher end shimano rods for years but kept breaking them so I went back to UglyStik as they had very durable
