  1. Been said many times but again for Canadian places luremaking.com they are super fast usually you have the order next day or two. Steve and Helen are so super nice and know their stuff they will help you get your full order ready. The website has info for making any bait you want to.

I love going to Jann's net craft in Ohio John and the other guys are always so helpful and the have so many custom coloured blades. And I can park my transport in front of their place which is awesome.

  2. Im glad Im not the only one that thought I looked trimmer and a studster in my younger years Lew. :D

Great photo. Not meaning to high jack yer thread here Sir Parker.

No biggie it's nice to see old mounts and how far things have come with what they can do from pictures. We have two old skin mounts here that are 25 years old and show it one is a SM bass the other a perch both cost less then $30 mounted on wood they hold a huge place in my heart but they look their age.

If anyone wants to share there fish in this thread please do I love to see them I will post the other two tomorrow or later in the week. I will also repost dads walleye I had done at advanced for him.

  3. Your best bet is Windsor that time of year as said above. Look at anglers choice for your jigging minnow baits Dave has many custom colours for the Detroit river or st.clair river. You will need some funky colours natural colours and a bunch of different colours heads in the weights outlaw said. You should also get his small worms for jigging as some days that is all them eyes want.

  4. Thanks guys

Yes Brian it's a replica I had them leave out lamprey marks and do a custom eye that is the great thing the big fish is still swimming and I have the memory in the living room.

I did ask James if they had any perch crappie bluegill around but they did not. I will one day get a cluster of baitfish to have on the wall in front of it.

Matt kick some musky azz with it.

It's around $1400 for this size fish. It depends what kind of fish and how big it is.

  5. Well I got my musky back from Advanced Taxidermy yesterday and I must say I am again totally blown away by the work that Shawn and James along with the staff do over there. Here are some pics I took from the shop and after getting it home.

As usual the pictures never do these things justice and I just used my phone to take the pics.

  6. Yesterday we were at day one of a local show in harrow Ontario talking musky with everyone and it was as usual comical to here the stories from many of the people. But I guess if your a perch/walleye fisherman and you get a 40" musky it would seem to be 60" #40-50.

I still love to talk to all of them even the 4 that were either trying to get me upset or just do eat musky. I did educate that on size limits and each was shocked to know that we have a 44" minimum not 30-36" as they had thought.

It's all about education with kids gloves on and also remembering that one day we to we're not as educated on the sport that is a obsession now.
